    摘要: Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for holding devices for securing a surgical robotic device and a patient anatomy positioner to a support (e.g., in an operating room). A holding device comprises a carriage, an anchor component fixed to the carriage for attaching to the support, a patient stabilization connector extending from the anchor component for attaching to the patient positioner, and an elongate holder slidably mounted on the carriage for attaching to the robotic device, wherein, when the anchor component is attached to the support, the carriage and the patient stabilization connector are immobilized. The holding devices may also include a hydraulic cylinder interposed between the elongate holder and carriage and/or a horizontal linkage interposed between the elongate holder and the robotic device.

    摘要: A rotary surgical assembly is disclosed. The assembly has a plurality of cutting teeth (216), a hollow dome (200) and a spindle (10). The hollow dome has a pole having a pole axis X, and a cutting surface featuring some of the cutting teeth. The cutting surface includes a curved part (214) and a substantially flat part (212) proximal the pole with an aperture (210) extending therethrough. The spindle has a proximal end (12) and a distal end (14) including a spindle mounting element (16). The spindle mounting element is secured to the dome beneath the substantially flat part of the cutting surface. The spindle mounting element has a cutting tooth (22) that extends distally through the cutting surface's aperture to form one of the said plurality of cutting teeth. A kit, and methods of manufacturing the rotary surgical assembly are described also.

The tibial paddle includes a sensor array generating sensor signals indicative of the joint force of the patient's knee joint. The method also includes performing a number of orthopaedic surgical steps while monitoring a display of the sensor module that provides a visual indication of the medial-lateral balance of the joint force of the patient's knee joint.

    摘要: A trial neck for hip surgery and a method of attaching a trial neck to a bone canal preparation instrument. The trial neck includes a body portion having a bore for receiving a proximal end of the bone canal preparation instrument. The trial neck also includes an elongate neck part comprising a pair of arms extending from the body portion. The trial neck further includes a clamping mechanism comprising a live spring formed by the body portion and said pair of arms of the elongate neck part and an actuator, for moving the clamping mechanism between a clamping configuration and a non-clamping configuration. In the clamping configuration, the pair of arms of the elongate neck part are pinched together to cause an inner wall of the bore to urge against the bone canal preparation instrument to retain the proximal end of the bone canal preparation instrument within the bore.

The cavity is sized to receive a femoral head of a femoral prosthetic component. The inner wall includes a curved surface extending inwardly from the outer rim to an inner end, and a semi-spherical surface connected to the inner end of the curved surface. The inner wall is shaped to resist dislocation of the femoral head component from the cavity and permit the femoral head component to articulate over a range of motion.
