Abstract:
An apparatus for extruding molten polymeric material into a plurality of filaments. The apparatus includes a pack which has a distribution plate and a circular spinneret positioned below the distribution plate. A quenching head is carried within and below the circular spinneret and includes a plurality of concentric hubs carried on a cylindrical tubular main body. Each of the concentric hubs has an upwardly inclined wall adjacent an upper portion of the hub which defines an incline annular passage which extends upwardly towards the spinneret through which quenching air is fed from the cylindrical tubular body through the passages for cooling the filaments being produced by the spinneret.
Abstract:
A multilayer fabric includes a first fabric and a second fabric superimposed onto each other. The first fabric is a non-woven fabric comprising a plurality of crimped filaments, the crimped filaments including a plurality of crimps. The first and second fabrics are constrained to each other at a plurality of constraining points or zones, wherein the surface of the second fabric has an area greater than the area of the first fabric. At least one portion of the second fabric disposed between adjacent constraining points or zones, has a plurality of bulgy zones, the bulgy zones protruding outward from the surface of the multilayer fabric.
Abstract:
Apparatus (1) for producing nonwoven fabrics, comprising: a spinneret (2) comprising an extrusion surface (2a) having at least one first group (4) of extrusion holes (3) and a second group (5) of extrusion holes (4); cooling elements (15, 15′); suction elements (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14); drawing elements to draw said filaments (100); wherein said suction elements (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) comprise a plurality of first suction channels (7) forming corresponding openings (7a) on said extrusion surface (2a), which are arranged between the first group (4) and the second group (5) of extrusion holes (3), said first channels (7) being fluidically connected to a first chamber (8) made in said spinneret (2), the suction elements (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) comprising one or more second suction channels (9) configured to suction gas from said first chamber (8).
Abstract:
Process for the production of a multilayer fabric comprising the steps of: (a) feeding at least a first fabric (101) and a second fabric (102) to a constraining device (15), wherein the first fabric (101) is a non-woven fabric, comprising a plurality of filaments adapted to be crimped, preferably bicomponent filaments; (b) constraining said first and said second fabric (102) to each other, so that to define a plurality of constraining points or zones (P) between said first fabric (101) and said second fabric, and so that said first and second fabric (102) are superimposed; (c) heating said first and second fabric (102), so that the filaments of the first fabric (101) develop a crimp, thus increasing the thickness of the first fabric (101) and shrinking the length and the width of the first fabric (101), the shrinking of the first fabric (101) being greater than the shrinking of the second fabric (102).
Abstract:
Apparatus (1) for producing a nonwoven fabric comprising a spinneret (2) and a mechanical drawing device (5) which comprises primary rollers and secondary rollers (21, 22) which are constrained to a frame (50) such that, considering a condition of use, said secondary rollers (21, 22) are movable with respect to said primary rollers (11, 12, 13) between a first position of operational disengagement from said filaments (3), and a second drawing position of said filaments (3).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a nonwoven fabric, comprising the steps of: (a) extruding a plurality of filaments from a spinneret; (b) depositing said filaments in a substantially not-crimped condition to make a nonwoven fabric on an element collecting the filaments; (c) heating said nonwoven fabric to crimp at least part of the filaments, so that the volume of said nonwoven fabric is increased; (d) bonding said nonwoven fabric; wherein said filaments are at least bicomponent filaments.
Abstract:
In an apparatus for the production of a non-woven fabric, a plurality of filaments (11) are extruded by a spinneret (2) into at least two groups spaced from each other to define an area of the cooling chamber without filaments and structures; the filaments are cooled by an air flow (Y) conveyed into the cooling chamber directed towards an intermediate area between said two groups of filaments, said area being located below an area of the spinneret without extrusion holes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to equipment/apparatus, and the relative method/process, for the treatment of synthetic filaments, in particular for drawing said filaments, comprising at least two nozzles each provided with a main passage, through which said yarns pass, having a section variable between an inlet portion and an outlet portion and into which at least one supply channel opens to supply a fluid according to a preferential direction. Advantageously, the nozzles are provided in line and the sections of the main passage of the second nozzle have an area at least 3% larger than the corresponding sections of the main passage of the first nozzle.
