摘要： A modular fly fishing rod system includes elongated rod blanks configured for mutual end-to-end removable engagement, with adjacent rod blanks having mutually distinct transverse cross-sections to form a rod portion extending from a proximal end having a relatively large transverse cross-section, to a distal end having a relatively small transverse cross-section. The rod blanks include intermediate rod blanks and a tip top rod blank, in which each intermediate rod blank has one or more helical line guides configured to permit the fishing line to be moved transversely into and out of engagement therewith. A handle has a reel seat to support a fishing reel, and a chuck configured to releasably engage any of the rod blanks, wherein the handle may be selectively used with the tip top rod blank alone or with one or more of the intermediate rod blanks engaged therebetween to selectively vary the length of the rod portion.

摘要： One object is to provide a lightweight fishing line guide that allows sharp sensing of fish bites. In accordance with one aspect, the line guide of the present invention includes a frame constituted by fiber-reinforced resin layers prepared by impregnating reinforcement fibers with a synthetic resin. The frame includes a ring retainer retaining a guide ring for admitting a fish line; a rod retainer having a retaining hole penetrating the frame and configured to be retained and fixed at a tip end of a tip rod of a fishing rod; and a support leg extending from the ring retainer and tipped with a fixation portion to be fixed on a rod.

摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to a line guide for a fishing rod and that employs a system of roller assemblies within a frame, the roller assemblies configured to form a passageway for the fishing line to pass through. As an angler reels in a fish and the fishing line is in contact with one of the roller assemblies, the tension of the fishing line will cause a component of the roller assembly to rotate, thus greatly reducing any sliding friction between the fishing line and the line guide. The line guides can be a variety of sizes and the frames of the line guides can vary in shape and their mounting orientation relative to the fishing rod.

摘要： A repair kit for fishing rods that has a replacement tip and a coupler to repair the shafts of the broken rods. The kit can be carried in the field as part of regular tackle box. The replacement tip is a formed body that has a threaded end. The ferrule is formed as part of the body so that is not susceptible to breakage. The ferrule can be also lined with a ceramic eyelet that reduces friction on the line passing through it as well as adding strength. The coupler is a two ended-part that has two formed tapered threads or two formed metal inserts inside the coupler. The coupler is twisted onto the end of the broken rod until it is secure. The other end of the broken rod is then twisted into the open end of the coupler. Once the second end of the rod is secure, the rod is again ready to use.
