Abstract: The improved structure of an academic cap of the present invention is related especially to an academic cap which is different from normal academic caps to suit the marketing fashions in the society, and is capable of convenient storing and adjustment of the size of the cap, thereby a user can store and use it conveniently. The academic cap mainly has a shading panel provided on a crown; a brim or peak is provided at an appropriate position on the external periphery of the crown. The shading panel is made from a board coated with cloth, and is provided thereon with a folding means for collapsing. The crown is provided at an appropriate position on the bottom thereof with an adjustment means to adjust the size of the crown to allow a user to adjust to a desired size of the crown.

Abstract: An inexpensive multi-modality utility hat of non/gender-specific design, having advantageous features providing its user with the novel convenience of readily transforming into several different types of hats in one. For example, the brim portion can be quickly and easily detatched from its central cap portion via a zipper, enabling user to wear only either the cap or the brim separately if desired; -and, if the cap portion only is selected to be worn for a time, the brim twist/tripple-folds into a compact member which concealably stows within an integral-pocket portion of the cap. Abstract: A cover to protect the clothing from cosmetic dirt is disclosed. In order to realize the protection, the cover comprises an upper part that covers the head, a lower part that covers around the neck, an elastic part in between, and a loopy strap on the top. Abstract: A sport cap (10) has a visor (16) made of thick-walled neoprene foam rubber. The pattern of the visor (16) is approximately crescent-shaped and has an arched inner edge (24), which is sewed to the head-band (14) in straight stretched form. When in a used position the visor (16) has a middle convex curvature section (32) and two lateral adjacent concave curvature sections (34), whereby there is a uniform transition between each of the curvature sections. Abstract: A precipitation protecting device that may be configured as a wide brimmed hat, or as an umbrella like covering. The device is movable from a collapsed, low volume configuration in which it is easily transported or stored, to a deployed configuration in which it well protects a user's head and upper body. A covering of flexible material, which may be transparent, has a relatively rigid perimeter defined by a plurality of distinct rigid tubular elongated support members. The support members may be tubular, or may be bars or other solid structures. An elastic structure, such as an elastic band, operatively connects the support members so that they are movable from the low volume configuration in which the members are generally side-by-side, to the deployed configuration in which adjacent elements are connected end-to-end to define a relatively rigid perimeter for the flexible covering. When used as a hat, the flexible covering is connected to a wearer's head by a headband, straps, or the like, at a central portion of the flexible covering. In an umbrella embodiment, a handle engages a central portion of one side of the flexible covering, the handle being unconnected to the relatively rigid perimeter.
