The plurality of bristles extend from the spine portion in a direction opposite the handle portion.

摘要： A braid detangling device for removing braids, comprising an elongated housing which serves to contain an electric motor, and first and second elongated teeth projecting in a perpendicular with respect to the housing. The first elongated tooth is fixedly attached to the housing and the second elongated tooth is movable between a retracted position wherein the two teeth are immediately adjacent to each other and an extended position wherein the two teeth are spread away from each other. A drive mechanism of any suitable type is provided within the housing adapted to apply a drive from the electric motor to oscillate the second tooth between the extended and retracted positions. The first and second teeth have pointed end adapted to be inserted into densely interwoven strands of hair. In use, the pair of teeth are inserted into a braid while they are in the retracted position and subsequent expanding motion of the second tooth pushes interwoven strands of hair away from each other and thereby resulting in disentanglement of a portion of the braid.

The comb includes a rigid frame extending lengthwise from a first end to a second end, the frame including a generally planar main body and its first end presenting an edge. A plurality of rigid teeth extend distally from the edge of the frame, with the plurality of teeth generally linear, aligned with one another, and generally coplanar. The intertooth spacing is configured to untangle hair while minimally disturbing styled hair. A rigid handle extend from the second end of the frame, the handle presenting a gripping surface for engaging the comb to hair.

摘要： A comb for detangling hair includes a handle, a head portion attached to the handle, and a plurality of teeth attached to the head portion. At least some of the teeth comprise first and second proximal ends, and a distal end, the first and second proximal ends being spaced apart from one another and being relatively moveable, wherein such relative movement of the proximal ends of said at least some of the teeth causes flexion or shape change of the tooth. The flexion of the tooth assists in detangling the hair by gently moving the hair shaft.

摘要： This invention is a cylindrical device placed on your finger or thumb and contains a 3 piece apparatus that can be detached coming out of the cylinder wither vertically at the apex, or on the sides. There is a pick sticking directly upwards from the finger and a mini comb and a brush between 90 to 180 degrees on each end of the pick (alternative manufacturing methods). The pick is pushed into the center of the braid and will break the braid apart. The comb or brush is used to straighten the hair as the pick breaks the braid apart.The entire process, while usually performed with two hands, can be accomplished with one hand thus making the device easier, less tiring and less expensive than alternative devices currently on the market.

摘要： The invention provides a combination comb and hair pick which is particularly adapted for debraiding plat-styled hair. The device of the invention comprises a comb section, a pick section and an intervening body section. The pick section is contiguous with and extends from the body toward the bottom end of the device to form an angle of less than 90 degrees with the longitudinal axes of the comb teeth. This configuration provides a hooking action which prevents the pick section from slipping out of a pleat during the debraiding of the plat. The comb and pick operation of the device can be rapidly switched without releasing the device or radically reorienting the device. This is achieved by pivoting the device while it is held, so that either the comb section or pick section is brought in contact with the desired portion of hair.
