Styling rod is inserted upward between hair roll and scalp, and pushed upward (7). A loop is pulled through the hair using the styling rod, and said loop is fastened to the top & the bottom of the hair device (7, 8). The applicator includes a movable bottom endwall for containing the fluid within the reservoir and advancing fluid and a rotatable smoothing rod attached to the exterior surface of the sidewalls.
