    摘要: A welding system includes a welding torch assembly including a body, a first feed roll, a second feed roll, and a lever. The first and second feed rolls are both configured to rotate with respect to the body, and the first and second feed rolls are disposed opposite from one another about a welding wire feed region. The lever is configured to pivot at a first end of the lever about a lever joint of the body, and the second feed roll is movable between a first position and a second position in response to movement of a second end of the lever. The second feed roll is adjacent to the first feed roll in the first position, the second feed roll is not adjacent to the first feed roll in the second position, and the lever is configured to maintain the feed roll in the second position.

    摘要: A diffuser insert is provided for use with a welding diffuser and contact tip assembly comprising a diffuser with an interior chamber configured to receive a wire conduit that supplies electrode wire and a shielding gas used during a welding operation and a contact tip coupled to the diffuser and configured to receive electrode wire. The diffuser insert comprises a diffuser insert body configured to be disposed within the interior chamber of the diffuser, and further comprises an insert bore extending therethrough configured to receive electrode wire. An outer periphery of the diffuser insert has at least one surface feature configured to manipulate a flow of said shielding gas from within said interior chamber of the diffuser and out of exit passages to thereby direct said flow of shielding gas about a molten welding puddle formed during a welding operation.

The method may include disposing a contact tip between a first and a second member and capturing the contact tip between the first and second members.

    摘要: Provided are a plasma-MIG welding method and a welding torch that are capable of reducing spatter amount without relying on control of a MIG welding power supply. The plasma-MIG welding method employs a plasma-MIG welding device configured from: a plasma torch section that includes a plasma nozzle and a plasma electrode; and an MIG torch that includes an MIG tip and a welding wire. The plasma torch section and the MIG torch are arranged so as to face in different directions at a predetermined distance from each other. The plasma-MIG welding method is characterized in that a plasma arc is made to locally overlap with a tip end portion of the welding wire, and in a state in which melting of the welding wire is promoted, MIG welding is carried out without short-circuiting between a workpiece and a tip end of the welding wire which is a consumable electrode.
