    摘要: A power actuated tool for driving a fastener such as a pin into a substrate such as steel or concrete comprises a driving piston (6) which is driven forwardly within the barrel (4) of the tool upon firing and is automatically reset in response to cocking of the tool prior to the subsequent firing. Resetting of the piston takes place by thrusting the piston (6) rearwardly during cocking by means of a spring-loaded gripper device (14) energized during cocking.

When this is done, the driving piston can be guided smoothly and returned under braking into its ready-to-fire position, and held there securely.

    摘要: This invention relates to an impact actuated tool for driving a fastener by an explosive charge, particularly a tool having a housing with a barrel axially slidably mounted within the front end. A nosepiece is fixed to the front of the barrel with a muzzle at its front end for receiving a fastening element that is to be secured in a ceiling, wall or the like. A piston is slidably mounted within the bore in the barrel. The barrel is biased forwardly in the firing direction. At the rear of the tool a handle engages a firing pin which is slidably mounted within the rear end of the bore. The firing pin is biased rearwardly towards the back end of the tool. One embodiment of the tool includes a ball lock safety device to allow discharge only when the muzzle of the tool is pointed in an upward direction. The tool is fired by impacting the nosepiece against a surface to effect displacement of the barrel and firing pin against their respective biasing springs.

    摘要: An explosive powder charge actuated fastening element driving device includes a driving piston mounted within a guide bore in an axially extending piston guide for displacement between a firing position and a driving position where the fastening element is driven into a receiving material. After driving a fastening element, the driving piston is returned toward the firing position by exhaust gases generated when a charge is fired. A channel laterally encloses the piston guide with a first and a second aperture, spaced apart in the axial direction, extending through the piston guide communicating between the guide bore and the channel. A blocking slide movable relative to the piston guide is located within the channel. The exhaust gases can flow through the first aperture into the channel and, when the blocking slide is displaced relative to the piston guide, entrapped in a storage space within the channel so that the exhaust gases flow through the second aperture into the guide bore and return the driving piston toward the firing position.
