摘要： A device for creating spin art is provided having inflatable components to facilitate packaging and storage thereof. An inflatable disk-shaped platen is coupled for rotation with the upstanding shaft of an electrical motor. The platen includes a broad upper surface for supporting and removably retaining thereon a workpiece. An inflatable splash container partially encloses the motor and platen to prevent splashing of paint from the rapidly rotating workpiece onto nearby objects while allowing the user to pour paint onto the workpiece through the open top. The device optionally comprises as an additional safeguard against splashing an inflatable annular cover which engages the upper rim of the splash container sidewall and which includes a central opening through which the user may access the workpiece.

摘要： An artwork assemblage is created by the providing of a base plate, with initially directing a writing instrument about a top surface of the base plate to effect creation of a picture outline imparting outline lines upon the base plate top surface. A woodburning tool is subsequently utilized to impart heated, inscribed lines tracing the picture outline. A paint brush is utilized to impart paint and a covering surface such as varnish and the like to the top surface. A lace framework is secured to a continuous side wall of the base plate, wherein subsequently illumination bulbs are mounted within through-extending bores directed from the top surface to a bottom surface of the base plate, with electrical lines and a battery supply mounted to the bottom surface of the base plate.

摘要： An applicator for applying a paint design along the border of a wall includes a holder having a planar base, a handle extending from one side of the base and a hook-and-loop fastener on an opposite side of the base for attaching in any desired position a sponge or other member for holding paint and applying it to the wall. The hook-and-loop fastener carries a grid so that the paint holding and applying member can be located in a precise position on the base of the holder relative to edges of the base and to other paint holding and applying members.

摘要： Apparatus and process for batiking eggs, articles, or the like. The apparatus has an open top container including a plurality of walls, a receptacle for holding a wax; and a clamp sildably, removably lodging over an edge of one of the walls and having the receptacle secured thereto. A burner is for positioning under the receptacle for melting the wax. A teardropping apparatus for dipping into the molten wax in order to designly deposit molten wax onto the eggs, articles, or the like. The process comprises placing wax into the receptacle; melting the wax by placing the burner under the receptacle and heating same; and dipping the teardropping apparatus into the molten wax. One of the user's hands which holds the teardropping apparatus rests on the edge of one of the walls while the other hand of the user holds the egg, article, or the like; and subsequently, the molten wax is deposited from the teardrop apparatus onto the eggs, articles, or the like.

摘要： An article for depositing a hot wax substance on a substrate in a desired pattern and which article includes a bowl having a reservoir for retaining the hot wax substance in a relatively liquid state. A spout extends outwardly from the housing and has a capillary tube connected to the spout and extending into the reservoir and terminating near the bottom wall of the reservoir. Moreover, this capillary tube has a relatively small diameter so that when the wax is in a heated state it will tend to rise in the tube by capillary action. When the reservoir is tipped so that the spout is pointed downwardly, the wax will flow through the spout and onto the substrate from the reservoir by means of a siphoning action. In a preferred aspect of the invention, a retaining tube extends through the reservoir in heat conductive relationship with the capillary tube. This retaining tube is designed to receive a heater element. In this way, the heater element actually applies heat to the wax in the reservoir retaining the same in the liquid state and also applies the heat to the capillary tube through heat conductivity. Several additional embodiments of the article are also disclosed and include a spatula in place of the spout and means for withdrawing the wax substance from a substrate after it has been applied. Moreover, the present invention provides a method of depositing and removing a hot wax substance from a substrate.

An over-cap (discharge nozzle) which fits on the ball-type nozzle has a bushing wall portion forming a first chamber, an enclosing wall portion forming a second chamber, a front wall portion having a spur projecting inwardly toward said ball and adapted to urge said ball from its seat, and an orifice within the front wall and offset from the spur. The over-cap is removably positioned on the ball type nozzle so that its internal spur selectively unseats the ball to permit free flow of the ink.
