摘要： A portable aerator comprising: a main aeration body; a base portion; an internal cavity; at least one ventilation shaft; a spout portion; an aeration opening; and an aeration inlet. The internal cavity comprises a threaded channel and cavity extends from a base portion opening to a spout portion opening. The internal cavity is configured to pass a liquid, such as wine that enters the internal cavity body at the base opening out through the spout portion opening. The threaded channel is threaded on an interior surface, such that the threaded channel is configured to matingly engage and disengage with a worm of a corkscrew bottle opening device, such as a waiter's wine key, via twisting and untwisting, respectively. The aerator device may have at least one ventilation shaft, an aeration shaft, and/or an extension tube.

摘要： An apparatus for removing a stopper from a bottle by rotating a threaded capsule surrounding the threaded neck of a bottle. The capsule is preferably received over a narrowed neck of the bottle to maintain the appearance of a foil-wrapped and cork-closed bottle. The bottle may be sealed with plugs (natural cork, synthetic cork, molded plugs), planar seals, or a combination thereof. The capsule may engage the stopper directly or by way of a stopper anchor. Aspects of the invention include preventing uncontrolled egress of stoppers from pressurized bottles, the resealing of various forms of bottles after removal of the stopper, locking the closure in place, and providing evidence of tampering.

摘要： A wine closure replaces the traditional cork and foil and includes a gasket/stopper which engages into the neck of the bottle. Encasing the finish and upper neck of the bottle is a plastic outer closure cap, generally cylindrical, with a top center disc which is adhered to the top of the stopper. A circle of frangible elements at the periphery of the disc provide for breakage of the disc away from the sleeve, causing it to remain with the stopper when the plastic cap is opened. Coarse, short-length threads are formed on the outside of the container neck, spaced appreciably below the finish, to be engaged by internal thread lugs of the plastic cap. On initial unscrewing of the cap, the disc breaks away from the remainder of the cap. A small vertical clearance is provided in the engagement between the internal cap structure and the gasket/stopper, so that the cap does not begin to lift the gasket/stopper until static friction against the elastomeric gasket/stopper has been overcome.

摘要： A cap device, particularly for a wine bottle, is disclosed as including a cap having a recessed top opening for receiving a screw for threadable insertion into the cork of the wine bottle. The recess at the top of the cap is of basically square shape with two recess extensions for receiving a butter knife, or the like, for turning the cork and screw as a unit and thereby unscrewing the cap, which is threadably attached to the outside of the neck of the wine bottle. The threading direction of the threads of the cap and neck of the wine bottle are opposite to the threading direction between the cork and the screw. Additionally, the cap is structured to extend a distance above the extent of the cork in the neck of the wine bottle, the cork is bullet-shaped and channels are defined transverse to the threads extending outwardly of the neck of the wine bottle, in order to allow the escape of compressed carbon dioxide in a sparkling wine or champagne bottle as the cap is unscrewed and the cork lifted. The top of the screw defines a spherical projection in order to assist guiding the cork in, with respect to the recess of the cap, when reinserting the cork after use.
