    Abstract: A plastic closure device for a container for parenteral pharmaceutical products having a bottle provided with a neck is provided. The plastic closure device has an outer cap with tearable weakenings to allow tear-off removal of the outer cap and an inner cage provided with a head having a central opening. A skirt ending in a lower edge extends below the central opening. Retaining elements for permanent snap engagement on the neck of the bottle are provided at the lower edge. The outer cap is snap-engaged under the lower edge of the inner cage by coupling elements. The plastic closure device guarantees authenticity of the container and its tightness even in the event of tampering attempts.

    Abstract: Caps for sealing assemblies for sealing glass containers and maintaining container closure integrity at −80° C. or less are disclosed. The caps include a cap skirt having an annular body and a crimp region. The crimp region is a crimpable metal. The annular body of the cap skirt has a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) greater than a CTE of a metal consisting of aluminum, a stiffness greater than or equal to 2 times a stiffness of the crimp region, or both. The greater CTE, stiffness, or both of the cap skirt increase the seal pressure and contact area between the stopper and glass container when cooled to −80° C. or less. The caps enable the sealing assemblies to maintain a helium leakage rate of the sealed glass container of less than or equal to 1.4×10−6 cm3/s at −80° C. or less.

    Abstract: In one general aspect, a method for filling multiple containers with a pharmaceutical product is disclosed, which comprises decontaminating sealed nested materials in a transfer chamber, removing from the sealed nested materials one or both of a container nest holding the multiple containers and a closure nest holding multiple closures, transferring from the transfer chamber to a controlled environment enclosure the removed nest, aseptically filling the containers with the pharmaceutical product, and closing the containers with the multiple closures. The nests are configured to allow multiple closures and containers to be simultaneously aligned concentrically, and closed simultaneously. Spring-loaded retaining structures on the closure nest allow it to releasably retain multiple closures above the corresponding multiple containers. In some embodiments the spring-loaded features are monolithically integrated with the closure nest. The product may be lyophilized in partially sealed containers while the sealing closures are releasably retained by the closure nest.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a security closure system and devices for containers, which can be used in any type of container and can be validated by means of simple sight and touch, thereby being tamper-resistant and preventing any adulteration by means of the non-authorised re-use of the original container. The system and devices are preferably used in containers made from vitreous materials such as ceramics, plastics and thermoplastics, owing to the properties of stiffness. The devices of the invention can be used for any product and any type of container, such as bottles for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, containers for cosmetics, perfumes, drugs, food and valuable items such as watches, electronics or fine jewelry.

For the usage-advantageous further development of a closure device of the type in question, it is proposed that the first thread (10) and the second thread (11) are configured opposite to one another in such a manner that during a movement into the discharge position the chamber (6) is moved further into the inner housing (5).

    Abstract: A container cap assembly includes an inner cap coupled to an inner surface and an upper end of a container neck and an outer cap maintaining the coupled state of the inner cap, thereby keeping the inside of a container sealed. The container cap assembly includes an inner cap including an outer wall portion corresponding to an inner surface of a neck of a container and a flange portion extending outward from an upper end of the outer wall portion to correspond to an upper end of the neck. An outer cap has a ceiling covering an upper portion of the inner cap and a side wall portion covering an outer circumferential surface of the neck, the ceiling and the side wall portion being integrally formed. The inner circumferential surface of the side wall portion has female threads corresponding to male threads on the outer circumferential surface of the neck.
