摘要: A toilet covering hinge assembly for mounting a toilet covering to the rear of a toilet for rotation of the toilet covering about a hinge axis between a lowered and a raised position. The hinge assembly includes a hinge element which is provided at the rear end of the toilet covering and is formed with a bore extending along the hinge axis. A hinge shaft extends through the bore in a rotatively fixed relation thereto so as to be rotatable together with the toilet covering about the hinge axis. One end of the hinge shaft is received by a support member provided on the side of the toilet for allowing the hinge shaft to rotate together with the toilet covering relative to the toilet. A retainer spring is secured to the hinge element adjacent to the bore for latching the hinge shaft against an axial movement thereof. The retainer spring comprises an outer section and an inner section having an inner edge projecting radially inwardly into the bore and capable of being resiliently deformed into and out of locking engagement with a stepped shoulder in the outer surface of the hinge shaft.

摘要: A spring hinge for raising a toilet seat and having an adjustable spring force. First and second hinge members with hinge knuckles that interfit closely end-to-end are attachable respectively to the toilet bowl and the seat. A rod extends through the knuckles and is slidably received in end caps on the hinge members at opposite ends. A first coupling member on the rod presents a series of teeth extending circumferentially around the rod and facing toward the end cap on the second hinge member. A second coupling member on the inside of the second hinge member's end cap has similar teeth which engage the teeth of the first coupling member. A coil spring encircles the rod inside the hinge knuckles and is fastened at one end to the end cap of the first hinge member and at the opposite end to the first coupling member to normally hold the first coupling member in toothed engagement with the second coupling member. The rod may be pushed to disengage the coupling members, after which the rod may be turned to adjust the force of the spring.

摘要: A damping device comprises an axle, a housing, a unidirectional member, and a damping oil. The unidirectional member in cross section is formed like a T-shape, and a top portion thereof is formed as an arc to cooperate with the housing's inner wall. Where the unidirectional member contains a U-shaped slot defines oil holes interlaced with the gap of the first slot wall. The lifting of the cover is free from damping and the closing thereof performs a well damping capability. Even only a narrow angle is lifted, a delicate damping is still achieved. The undersized unidirectional member concurrently guarantees the structural strength. The diminished cross-section of the unidirectional member contributes to a smaller U-shaped slot. Therefore, while satisfying the turning angle, the thicknesses of the U-shaped slot's wall and the obstructing wall are assured to greatly prolong the using life of the present invention.
