A second cooperation part 22 is connected to a connection member 30 rotatably about a second axis line L2 and then is made to cooperate with the first cooperation part 11. A first actuator 41 of an actuator unit 40 such as a rotation dumper or the like is fixed rotatably to the second cooperation part 22 and then a second actuator 42 is fixed rotatably to the second member 2. When the second member 2 is made to rotate, the second cooperation part 22 rotates about the first axis line L1 with respect to the first cooperation part 11 and rotates about the second axis line L2 with respect to the second actuator 42.

摘要： A multi-part eccentric hinge assembly for a plumbing fixture has two hinge bodies, which when connected pivotally couple a movable part of the fixture to a fixed part, for example, a lid or cover to a bowl deck. One of the hinge bodies has a radial portion and an offset portion. The radial portion generally extends along a line intersecting a pivot axis from a connection for pivotally connecting the hinge assembly to the plumbing fixture. The offset portion intersects the radial portion at one side of the pivot axis and extends back toward an opposite side of the pivot axis to a free end that connects to the second hinge body by a connector. The single hinge body is integrally formed with the moveable part so that the follows an eccentric path when the hinge body is pivoted about the pivot axis.

摘要： A rotary damper for use with a toilet lid has a damper shaft rotatably supported by a damper housing, a collar of synthetic resin fitted over the damper shaft for rotation therewith, and a casing of synthetic resin fixed to the damper housing and disposed around the collar for rotation relative thereto. The collar has a pair of diametrically opposite axial ridges disposed on the outer circumferential surface thereof and projecting radially outwardly. The casing has a pair of diametrically opposite cantilevered resilient arms defined by respective slits in the circumferential wall thereof. The cantilevered resilient arms have respective axial teeth disposed on the inner circumferential surface of the casing and projecting radially inwardly for engagement with the axial ridges, respectively. When the collar rotates in one direction, respective slanting surfaces of the axial ridges engage and move over the respective axial teeth, displacing the axial teeth radially outwardly against the resiliency of the cantilevered resilient arms. After the axial ridges move past the respective axial teeth, respective step surfaces of the axial ridges are locked by the axial teeth, retaining the collar and hence the damper shaft in a rotated position unless strong forces are applied to rotate the damper shaft backward.

摘要： A toilet covering hinge assembly has a damping capability for damping the motion of the toilet covering from a raised to a lowered position upon a toilet. The assembly includes a hinge shaft connecting the toilet covering to the rear of the toilet so as to be rotatable together with the toilet covering between the lowered and raised positions. Also connected to the hinge shaft is a dashpot which is secured on the side of the toilet and comprises a cylinder containing a volume of damper fluid and a rotor rotatably received within the cylinder. The rotor receives the hinge shaft to be rotatable together therewith and is provided with a flap extending outwardly into the damper fluid. The flap is pivotable relative to the rotor such that the flap is caused to, in response to the toilet covering moving from the lowered to the raised position, pivot into a folded condition where it receives no substantial resistance from the damper fluid and is caused. In response to the toilet covering moving from the raised to the lowered position, the flap pivots into an unfolded condition where it receives increased resistance from the damper fluid for dampening the motion of the toilet covering moving in that direction. The flap is formed to have an integral anchor bulb which is rotatably fitted within a corresponding bearing cavity in the outer surface of the rotor so that the flap is pivotally supported to the rotor without requiring any other supporting structure.
