摘要:
A rope ladder in which the steps have a metal frame comprising a pair of longitudinal members joined by a pair of shorter transverse members spaced in from the ends and strengthened by a pair of diagonal members. At each end a metal bracket bridges across the frame and provides an elevated upper plate portion which defines a generally rectangular opening. A molded hard elastomer body is molded around the frame and has a collar portion at each end molded around the bracket. The body has a downwardly and outwardly flaring through opening in line with the bracket opening and vertical bolt openings therethrough adjacent each through opening. A separate wedge collar for each step has a tapered through opening going down to a narrow lower end. A generally diamond-shaped wedge heart in between each pair of ropes provides two rope-engaging side grooves for locking the pair of ropes in place and preventing relative movement between the ropes and the step, when fastening means extending through the bolt openings are tightened in place.

A flexible embarkation-debarkation marine ladder having a pair of flexible wire rope suspension members. A plurality of steps are secured to the suspension members at spaced intervals. The steps include a pair of ears. The opposite ends of the rungs are secured to the ears in spaced relationship. Each ear includes a tubular sleeve extending perpendicularly to and in aligned relationship to the spacing between the rungs. The suspension member extends coaxially through the sleeves. A plurality of constrictible annular stops are fixed to the suspension member at the opposite ends of the sleeves to lock the steps to the suspension member in parallel, spaced relationship. In another form, the marine ladder suspension members are formed of a pair of fiber ropes. The fiber ropes extend through rectangular tubular sleeves which are fixedly secured to the ears as by welding. The steps and spreader arms of the fiber rope ladder are secured to the fiber rope elements by constrictible sleeves above and below the sleeves of the respective step and spreader arm mounting structures.

A rope ladder. Each step is a molded one-piece hard elastomer member having a pair of rope-receiving openings, the upper outlet from which closely confines a pair of ropes, while the bottom of the opening is much wider. Each opening tapers inwardly from bottom to top, and each step has a pair of vertical bolt openings therethrough adjacent each opening. A separate wedge collar for each opening bears against the bottom of each step and has a single through opening; at its upper end the opening is the same width as the lower end of the step's opening, and it tapers inwardly down to an outlet that closely confines the two ropes. Each wedge collar has a pair of vertical bolt passages aligned with those of the step to enable bolting the step to the collar. A generally diamond-shaped wedge heart is wedged in between the two ropes of each pair, lying partly inside the opening through the step and partly inside the opening through the wedge collar. The wedge heart has an upper vertex, a lower vertex, and two rope-engaging side grooves, which lock the pair of ropes in place.

This invention provides a collapsible web ladder in which a number of flat step members are connected to two flexible webs by virtue of T-shaped recesses in the ends of the step members. The flexible webs lodge in the recess portions corresponding to the cross-bars of the T's. Each web has affixed to it a plurality of spaced-apart block members which are adapted to lodge against and underneath the cross-bars of the T-shaped recesses, whereby weight placed on a step member can be transferred to the web.

A tree platform supported between two tree branches made up of a platform-like member having ends suitable to slide down between two diverging tree branches, two legs are hinged to the underside of the platform member and a turnbuckle engages the lower ends of the legs forcing them out into engagement with the tree branches thereby holding the platform in place. The turnbuckle ends are generally elliptical in shape and have outer peripheral grooves which receive the loops of two ropes that dangle from the turnbuckle and ladder steps are supported on the two ropes providing a ladder for a person to climb into place on the platform. The ladder will also provide a rope for a hunter to drag a deer.
