摘要： This invention is directed to a device for securing a step of a rope ladder to the rope. The device includes an upper and a lower wedge collar, each of which has a central slot through which the ropes to be secured are threaded. The device further includes a diamond-shaped wedge heart which is inserted in the slot between the ropes such that the ropes are compressed between the sides of the wedge collars and the edges of the wedge heart. The wedge heart also has locking lugs on each edge, each locking lug contacting a surface of the upper and the lower wedge collar to prevent the wedge heart from being pulled through the slot in the wedge collars when pressure is applied to the ropes.

摘要： A collapsible escape ladder is provided with a hook, two supporting straps, and a plurality of rungs which are connected in series by the two supporting straps passing through a first hole penetrating each rung. A standoff member is inserted through a second through hole in each rung which is communicated with the first through hole, and passes through an opening of each supporting strap which is aligned with the second through hole inside each rung, and a screw bole is screwed into the corresponding screw hole, thereby to fasten the plurality of rungs and the two supporting straps together.

摘要： A pair of substantially parallel lengthwise spaced apart two layered web straps having an attaching device integral at one end of each corresponding web strap. At designated intervals along each web strap, the two layers are spaced apart to form an opening through which a ladder step is inserted at each end of the step. A flanged end cap is removably attached to each end of the ladder step along an outside edge of the web strap. The end caps are removed from the end of the ladder steps and the ladder steps are removed from the straps for compact storage with the straps.

摘要： An agility ladder for athletic training and exercise use is shown and described. The ladder has at least two elongated parallel railings spaced by rungs extending between the railings. The railings are preferably flexible so that they may be folded to collect the rungs into a stacked or bundled configuration. The collected rungs may then be mounted on an elongated handle for storage purposes. The rungs are slidably mounted on the railings so that they may be repositioned thereon, but a locking arrangement is also provided to allow the rungs to be firmly fixed in place on the railings.

Individual steps including a toehold are connected at variable distances by flexible material permitting the steps to be spaced sufficiently far apart to allow an adult to kneel between neighboring steps. In preferred embodiments of the step system, individual steps include molded cutout handles, reenforced grommets for passage of fasteners, and non-skid surfaces for additional safety when the step system is employed in steeply pitched planes.
