    摘要: Provided is a braking system for use with an extension ladder having a base section and a fly section movable relative to the base section via an adjustment rope. The braking system includes a bracket for attachment to the fly section. A pulley and an arm are secured to and movable relative to the bracket by the adjustment rope between a first position when no tension is applied to the rope and a second position when tension is applied to the adjustment rope. A cam is movable between an engaged position when the pulley and arm are in the first position with the cam engaging with the base section to prevent movement of the fly section relative to the base section, and a disengaged position when the pulley and arm are in the second position.

The ladder assembly includes a first section, a second section, a third section, and a fourth section, a pad slidably coupling the first section to the second section, the pad defining a first engagement surface and a second engagement surface, and a resilient member coupling the pad to a bracket. The first engagement surface is spaced an offset distance from the second engagement surface. The bracket is positioned to support the pad such that the first engagement surface and the second engagement surface contact the second section and transfer loading along the ladder assembly.

    摘要: A ladder set for rescue vehicles, including a base mounted on a vehicle, an end part and connecting parts disposed therebetween. A traction device is mounted for an extension cable and a roller arrangement for guiding the cable. Roller pairs are mounted on connecting parts, of which each include a front roller and a rear roller. A deflecting roller is located on the end of base part pointing in the direction of extension, via which extension cable is guided in the direction of the traction device. Extension cable is secured to end part by its end opposite traction device and is guided from fixation point to deflecting roller then via roller pairs of connecting parts in their connecting order, in such a way that extension cable first passes the first and then the rear rollers of a roller pair.

A conduit apparatus comprises a pair of lateral tubes each has a top end and a bottom end. A plurality of horizontal tubes is attached to and extends between the lateral tubes. The horizontal tubes and the lateral tubes are fluidly coupled together. Each of the horizontal and lateral tubes has apertures extending therein. A water inlet is fluidly coupled to the conduit apparatus. The water inlet is fluidly couplable to a water supply to supply water to the conduit apparatus. Water supplied to conduit apparatus is ejected outwardly of the apertures. A plurality of couplers couples the conduit apparatus to the conduit apparatus to the ladder. Feet of a person placed on the rungs are cleaned by water is ejected by the apertures.
