    摘要: Trigger groups for semi-automatic firearms have a hammer, a trigger element, a sear, a selector, and a disconnector assembly, the disconnector assembly operable when the selector is in a first position to retain the hammer in the cocked position in response to release of the trigger element to the rest position subsequent to discharge of the firearm by pulling the trigger element, and the disconnector assembly operable when the selector is in a second position to release the hammer to the striking position in response to release of the trigger element to the rest position subsequent to discharge of the firearm by pulling the trigger element, such that the firearm discharges once per cycle of the trigger element when the selector is in the first position, and fires once for each forward or rearward motion of the trigger element when the selector is in the second position.

    摘要: A system includes a ballistic weapon having a barrel and a firing system having a controller. The controller is configured to receive a firing command and in response, when operating in a first mode of operation, to trigger repeated firing of the ballistic weapon such that the barrel of the ballistic weapon reseats in between consecutive firings of the ballistic weapon. The controller may also be configured to receive the firing command and in response, when operating in a second mode of operation, to trigger a single firing of the ballistic weapon. The controller may further be configured to receive the firing command and in response, when operating in a third mode of operation, to trigger repeated firing of the ballistic weapon such that the barrel of the ballistic weapon does not reseat in between consecutive firings of the ballistic weapon.

The method including the steps of: removably and rotatably locating a reversible safety selector in a receiver having a first side and an opposite second side, the reversible safety selector having a selector member and a shaft extending therefrom, the shaft being rotationally received within the receiver and the shaft further comprising a first position selection feature proximate to the selector member and a second position selection feature distal to the selector member, wherein a camming surface is located between the first position selection feature and the second position selection feature, wherein the first position selection feature is configured to only engage a spring biased detent of the receiver when the reversible safety selector is rotated between a first position and a second position with respect to the receiver when the selector member is located on the first side of the receiver, wherein the second position selection feature is configured to only engage the spring biased detent of the receiver when the reversible safety selector is rotated between the first position and the second position with respect to the receiver when the selector member is located on the second side of the receiver, and wherein the camming surface contacts a portion of a trigger of the firearm as the reversible safety selector is rotated between the first position and the second position with respect to the receiver.

    摘要: In accordance with the first exemplary embodiment a semi-automatic M-4 type firearm is provided. The firearm comprises a receiver and a reversible safety selector. The receiver has a right side and a left side. The reversible safety selector is rotatably coupled to the receiver and comprises a shaft with a user selector member at one end. The user selector member is adapted to allow a user to move the reversible safety selector relative to the receiver. The reversible safety selector is adapted to be mounted to the receiver in a first position with the user selector member located on the right side of the receiver. The reversible safety selector may be mounted to the receiver in a second position different from the first position with the user selector member located on the left side of the receiver.

Accordingly, it is possible to provide a simulated magazine capable of operating according to a movement of a trigger and having a stable structure for transmitting a burst signal to a central controller.

    摘要: A firearm receiver with an extended bridge is created to prevent the fully automatic fire of an assault rifle. The extended bridge receiver has a narrowed magazine well for a single stack removable magazine, safety catch with one or more grooves on its lower left hand side, new sporting stock where grip part and butt-stock part form one unit and barrel extension permanently attached to the muzzle. The receiver can be configured with a rivet on the bridge in a location that prevents backward turning of the safety catch, where the modified safety catch has two positions (i.e. safe and fire), rather than the three positions consistent with a fully automatic firearm. In a second version, the extended bridge lacks a release lever groove. In yet another version, an inseparable, double stack magazine box is used.
