Abstract: A disk organizer includes a cabinet defining a number of storage cells each of which is associated with an electrically controlled magnetic device. A disk enclosure is movably received in each of the storage cells. The disk enclosure receives and accommodates a storage disk therein. A magnet is mounted to the enclosure and corresponds to the electrically controlled magnetic device of the cell associated with the enclosure. A controller system comprised of a computer equipped with storage memory and a user interface, is connected to the electrically controlled magnetic devices for selectively energizing the electrically controlled magnetic device to generate magnetic attraction and expulsion for the magnet to selectively move the disk enclosure in and out of the associated storage cell of the cabinet. Information and index of the disks stored in the cabinet is recorded in the computer storage memory whereby a user may search and access the disks by means of the user interface of the computer. The user interface can be a keyboard, a touch panel or a mouse.

Abstract: An objet of the present invention is to obtain a disc storage case capable of storing a large number of discs and of reducing a time taken for picking up an intended disc therefrom. In accordance with the present invention, two disc storage cases are coupled to each other via a hinge to be free to open and close, wherein each of the two disc storage cases has a plurality of triangle-shaped partition plates which are displaced and aligned at a predetermined distance, and a top of each of alternate ones of the partition plates is provided with an identification tab extending therefrom. Recognition marks are displayed on the same-directional faces of the identification tabs for making more clear positions of disc storage chambers for convenience of storing discs. A hinge member as a coupler is attached to the two disc chambers for coupling them to each other for providing a connection part thereof with improved strength and durability.

Abstract: A low-cost lightweight portable display and listening stand is configured to display, demonstrate and sell media such as music compact disks (CDs) particularly at general retail outlets and directly by musicians to attendees of live performances and other public events. A bottom compartment accommodates a CD player that is set up to drive a headphone set that is made available to a user. An open bin located above the bottom compartment holds a small quantity of CDs packaged in individual nulljewel-boxnull cases. A vertical panel, extending upwardly from a rear region of the open bin, provides display of sales literature or display of product, e.g. one of the packaged CDs, and provides a hanger for the headphone set. The display rack can be made integral or can be assembled from two or more component portions that can be separated and that can nest together for convenient storage, transportation or shipping. A two-portion version can be fabricated from an identical pair of readily available molded plastic container bins.

Abstract: A storage case for small format memory cards is taught which utilizes those sections of known and existing computer furniture specifically designed to receive compact disc jewel cases to thereby allow for more reliable storage of small format memory cards. The storage case includes a compact disc jewel case without a disc retaining mechanism therein. A foam insert resides within the compact disc jewel case and has at least one precut cut-out section therein which is removable to provide at least one space in the foam insert to receive a small format memory card. The jewel case is preferably formed from a clear plastic material and there is preferably an insert sheet adapted to be retained proximate to a front wall of the jewel case. The insert sheet includes at least one punch-out section therein which corresponds to and aligns with the at least one precut cut-out section in the foam insert when the jewel case is closed thereby allowing a user to view and read the label on any small format memory cards residing in the CD jewel case without opening the case.

Abstract: A package for storing diskettes with different dimensions is disclosed. The package includes a casing and a tray pivatally and receivably engaged with the casing. The casing is composed of a top panel, a bottom panel, and two side panels in connection with each other and extending between the top panel and the bottom panel.
