摘要:
The X-ray equipment related to the embodiment is configured from a plurality of pressure rising units, a switching unit, and a switching control unit. The plurality of pressure rising units are connected to the battery unit and generate direct current voltage. The switching unit switches over the plurality of pressure rising units and supplies direct current voltage to the X-ray generating unit. The switching control unit transmits switching instructions to the switching unit for switching over the pressure rising unit after receiving voltage supply instructions with respect to the X-ray generating unit until said voltage supply instructions terminate. The switching control unit controls discharging of the condenser inside the pressure rising unit switched over by the switching instructions and the control of commencing charging of the condenser inside the pressure rising unit following termination of discharging.

A method for generating a fast rise-time X-ray pulse includes the steps of providing an n-phase x-ray generator, the x-ray generator including an n-phase transformer having at least one primary winding and at least one secondary winding per phase, and providing n sections of rectifiers, each rectifier having at least a fast pulse rise-time mode and a n-phase ripple flat-top mode. According to the method, at least a first capacitor is charged in each of the n sections of rectifiers at a ripple of less than n-phases to create a fast leading edge of the fast rise-time pulse, and at least a second capacitor is charged in each of the n sections or rectifiers at an n-phase ripple to create a substantially flat-top of the fast rise-time pulse.

A small, hand held X-ray machine is constructed to be readily portable, including a portable power supply, yet is sufficiently powerful to take an X-ray of a human patient. The X-ray machine includes a ceramic X-ray tube which is resistant to shocks and vibrations, structurally strong, as well as light weight, further contributing to the convenient portability of the X-ray machine.

The invention relates to an apparatus for supplying high-power electric loads operated in a pulse-like manner, particularly to X-ray equipment. The apparatus makes use of the mechanical energy of rotation of a flywheel rotated through a time period which is substantially longer than the pulse duration of the load by a driving power being substantially smaller than the pulse power of the load to generate a supply voltage for the load in expense of this mechanical energy. The driving period of the flywheel and the associated moderate driving power provide an energy balance with the short pulses with high power consumption. The apparatus comprises a generator unit with at least one electric rotary machine which has a rotor that rotates together with the flywheel. The excitation of the rotary machine is provided by a field power supply being controlled by a control unit. The control unit controls the excitation of the generator unit to provide predetermined output voltage and current levels for the load. The apparatus according to the invention can provide a specified operation control for the load.According to an aspect of the invention a method has been provided for carrying out fluorography which can see to an increased sensed light intensity. According to this method fluoroscopy is carried out by pulsed X-ray irradiation with small average intensity and high pulse intensity, in which the repetition frequency of the pulse is high enough to provide for a continuous light sensation. Such pulsed irradiation provides for an image on the fluoroscopic screen in which the sensed light intensity is increased by the ratio of the peak and average radiation intensities compared to the light intensity of a conventional continuous irradiation with the average intensity.

A tomographic scanner with a continuously rotating source of radiation is energized by converting inertial mechanical energy to electrical energy. The mechanical-to-electrical conversion apparatus is mounted with the X-ray source to be energized on a rotating flywheel. The inertial mechanical energy stored in the rotating conversion apparatus, flywheel and X-ray source is utilized for generating electrical energy used, in turn, to energize the X-ray source.

An energy storage system particularly adapted for mobile x-ray units which uses electrical energy from an ordinary 110 volt wall outlet, stores it as mechanical energy, and then converts part of the mechanical energy back to electrical energy in a short period of time. The mechanical energy is stored in flywheels which are also parts of a generator which converts mechanical to electrical energy as required.
