摘要： A composite material for garments, such as shapewear and sportswear garments, is formed of an outer layer that is highly elastic with high compression and an inner layer provided on the outer layer and made of a material that is elastic, waterproof and oil proof. The outer layer is a fabric base fabricated from a blend of polyester and spandex. The inner layer comprises a coating of polyurethane (PU) containing nano-titanium dioxide (nano-TiO2). When used to fabricate a garment, the inner layer of the composite material is adjacent to the body of the wearer when the garment is worn such that perspiration from the wearer's skin and/or skin contact products, such as oil/water based body creams and gels, applied to the wearer's skin are not absorbed by the inner layer and are thereby prevented by the inner layer from being transmitted to the fabric base.

摘要： Waterproof, breathable garments and methods of making are provided. The garments may include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The garment is conformable over a range of sizes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of forming molds. The ePTFE membrane may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, a mold having a desired size to form a garment. Such a conformable ePTFE membrane may allow for forming multiple sizes of garments with various sizes and shapes of molds. In embodiments where the ePTFE membrane is seamless and continuous, the garment eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make garments waterproof.

The stretch in the weft direction of the garment lining is greater than a stretch in the weft direction of the front panel and the back panel. The stretch in the warp direction of the garment lining is less than the stretch in the weft direction of the garment lining. The bottom garment may further include an elastic support band for maintaining the position of the garment when the garment is worn.

摘要： A securing mechanism for a waist of a clothing bottom includes a casing that defines a waist circumference. An elastic has first and second ends and is located entirely within the casing. A first draw cord is attached to the first end of the elastic, extends inside the casing, protrude out through a first hole to be located outside of the casing. A second draw cord is attached to the second end of the elastic, extends inside the casing, protrude out through a second hole to be located outside the casing. Portions of the first and second draw cords that are located outside of the casing are shorter than or approximately three inches in length when the waist circumference of the casing is fully extended.
