Abstract: The present invention is related to a hanging file folder, which has a suspension bar and two adjusting structures respectively attached to the opposite ends thereof wherein each of the adjusting structures is attached by a collapsible hook. When the hooks of the disclosed hanging file folder are extended, the folder can be hung upon two parallel support rails of a hanging file frame assembly, whereas the hooks can be collapsed for facilitating general application. Additionally, the suspension bar of the present invention can be accommodated to folders of different sizes by setting the length of adjusting structures appropriately.

Abstract: An exemplary hanging file folder retainer is provided that, in one embodiment, includes a first attaching member, a second attaching member, and a retaining member. The first and second attaching members couple to a hanging file drawer rail in order to secure the hanging file folder retainer to the hanging file drawer rail. Abstract: A suspension device which can be fixed and also released again in a simple manner to and from a profiled bar or the like which serves for suspending corresponding webs of material or pockets. More particularly the invention is preferably a suspension device for webs of flexible material, that includes a fixing portion which permits fixing of the suspension device to or in the proximity of an edge of a flat web material, and a suspension portion which permits suspension on a profiled bar. The suspension portion desirably includes two substantially oppositely disposed and mutually facing first and second hook portions defining a respective undercut configuration, and wherein the first hook portion is movable in such a way that the undercut configuration defined by the first hook portion is at least partially opened so that the profiled bar can be introduced between the first and second hook portions into the undercut configurations, wherein after the movable first hook portion is moved back into the initial position of being disposed substantially opposite to the other second hook portion, the profiled bar is secured in the two undercut configurations. The second hook portion is a fixed and relatively short, stable hook portion and the other, first movable hook portion is substantially longer. The invention also includes a web of material as part of a transport or storage apparatus, in which receiving pockets or receiving compartments for articles to be transported or stored are formed by corresponding webs of material, wherein at least two suspension devices, as described above are mounted to a first edge of the web of material.

Abstract: A suspended file folder assembly is made from thermoplastic material and uses a thermoplastic sheet folded along at least one score line to define a folder, which has a retaining portion at upper edges thereof. A support bar, having a cavity in a bottom portion thereof and being substantially symmetrical with respect to its longitudinal axis, mechanically engages with the retaining portion. This weight-bearing interlock distributes the load of the folder along the length of the cavity of the support bar and the upper edge of the sheet. The support bars have notches therein for engagement with conventional suspension rails as well as at least one indentation for accommodating an index tab. A rotatable index tab, or clip tab, is also provided with a lower part, including outwardly extending leg-like extensions, that is complimentary in shape to the support bar and attachable to the support bar.

Abstract: A suspension bag for a suspension filing system is described wherein elongate plastic closure bars are used and affixed to upper edges of plastic bags. The closure bars releasably interlock with each other and are separable for a sufficient distance to form a bag opening for the insertion of articles to be stored in the suspension bag.
