摘要： A beverage carrier for holding, storing, and carrying beverages is provided. The carrier has a handle and six or more individually detachable sleeves arranged in two rows on each side of the handle. When a sleeve is detached from the carrier, with a beverage remaining within the sleeve, the sleeve serves as an insulating device for the beverage. The beverage carrier is manufactured from a template, which is a single, continuous piece of generally flat material such as cardboard or paperboard. The end sleeves of each row of sleeves is attached directly to the handle, and the middle sleeves are attached to the handle via a hinge that allows the middle sleeves to be folded into place between the end sleeves. The hinges allow the template to be made from a single piece of material without any overlapping material. Because the carrier is made from such a template, a high volume of carriers can be manufactured using automated machinery.

The carrier device is made from a paperboard blank (10) and has a base (16) with apertures defined therein for receiving the necks of the respective containers, two side walls (19,20) hingedly connected to opposed side edges of the base, the side walls being angled with respect to the base and extending toward one another, and two handle panels (23,24) hingedly connected to each one of the respective side walls. A plurality of reinforcing flaps (34) are defined in the side walls and the handle panels, the reinforcing flaps being hingedly attached to each one of the side walls along an edge (32), respectively. The reinforcing flaps are folded against the side walls in use, and have a length greater than half of the width of the base.

Preferably the handle portion, the first and second cup supporting panels, and the third panel are all integral and formed from a single sheet of material. The bottomless foldable container may also include an auxiliary food tray which has a bottom portion and side portions, that when used, contacts the tops of the beverage containers received in the first and third and said second and fourth openings. The handle portion includes means for locking said tray into position.

摘要： A carrier with both a bottom panel and an upper panel containing openings through which the necks of packaged bottles extend. The upper panel is comprised of adjacent sections foldably connected to a central handle panel and to an intermediate panel. The latter panel also contains bottle openings and is foldably connected to a central vertical support panel. The arrangement permits loading by placing bottles on the bottom panel and pushing down on the handle panel, which causes the upper panel sections to pivot down over the bottles. Support tabs may surround the bottle openings in the upper panel to engage shoulders on the bottle necks.

摘要： A neck clip bottle carrier having angled side panels of two-ply construction. The lower edges of openings in the side panels engage the underside of bottle flanges to support the bottles. The outer ply of one of the side panels is divided into flaps which overlie tear-away sections in the underlying inner ply. The flaps are adhered to lower portions of the tear-away sections. When the tear-away sections are separated, the overlying flaps pivot upwardly to a point permitting removal of the associated bottle. The tear-away sections are designed so as not to cause failure of the carrier under high loadings.

In another form of the carrier, the top wall panel is scored so that portions fold upwardly in accordian fashion when the carrier is applied to the bottles.
