    摘要： A grooved rail switch with a tongue rail device includes a tongue rail displaceably supported on a torsion-stiff support box for movement between a stock rail and a switch rail. The support box is made up of an upper slide plate, a lower bottom plate and flat bars extending between and welded to the slide plate and bottom plate. High strength bolts secure the stock rail to one side of the support box and the switch rail to the other side.

    摘要： This invention relates to an improvement in a point switch in which the switch blades or tongues are composed of rail sections of the trunk or main track and are displaceably positioned on slide chairs in the transverse rail direction, the improvement comprising a shaft on which each slide chair is slidingly mounted between two bearing blocks, one of the bearing blocks being inside the track and the other of the bearing blocks being outside of the track, welds rigidly connecting the bearing blocks with a joint base plate, and two rods on each chair parallel to the shaft, a first one of the rods being adapted to contact a stop in a recess in the outside bearing block, and a second one of the rods being adapted to contact a lock in a recess in the outside bearing block, whereby in an unlocked condition the first one of the rods contacts the stop, and in a locked condition the second one of the rods contacts the lock.

    摘要： A track switch that comprises track rails of basic (2), (3), straight, (4), (5) and lateral (6), (7) directions fastened on a slab track (1); sliding switch rails (8); (9) and point rails (10), (11) that are rigidly fastened to the slab track (1) by means of mounting means (12). The point rails and switch rails form points. The track switch comprises also a shift mechanism with a drive (14) and an axis (15), whereto sliding locks (16), (17) are connected. The point rails (10), (11) and the switch rails (8), (9) are connected with each other by means of units. Each of the units is a guide (18) that is rigidly fastened to the point rail, a wedge (19) that is rigidly fastened to the switch rail (8), (9), a cleat wedge (20) placed in the guides that is capable of moving longitudinally and fastened with its both ends to point rods (21) of the wedge (see FIGS. 1 and 4). The sliding wedges (20) are connected to each other by means of point rods (21), the last of the point rods being connected with the axis of the shift mechanism that is capable of rotating or moving longitudinally, and is set into motion by a shift drive mechanism.     摘要： A swing railroad turnout that includes a railroad track with a mobile portion and actuators that are used to selectively bend the mobile portion between a first and a second position. In the first position, connection is made to a first track. In the second position, connection is made to a second track. The tracks are formed of rails that are supported on ties or other fixed foundations. The rails are either bent with respect to the ties, or the ties themselves are moved generally transversely to bend the rails. Connecting mechanisms are provided for selective connection of the rail ends.
