    摘要： A pressure actuated fracture tool for use in splitting and fracturing hardened material, such as rock, stone, concrete and the like, having two expansible outer shells designed to move in opposition to each other along a selected axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the tool. The outer shells define a central orifice extending longitudinally to length of the tool. An elastomeric tubular member is positioned in the central cavity between two longitudinally fixed end connectors. Upon the application of pressure to the tubular member, the outer shells expand outwardly in a determined radial diversion to contact the wall of a cavity bored in the hardened material and cause the material to cleave or split.

Collars are located at each end, defining axially opposed sealing faces directed towards one another, each of the opposed faces defining generally axially disposed tapering recesses. An expandable sleeve member formed of resilient plastic material surrounds the rod, and has two ends, each end defining generally tapering surfaces adapted to fit within respective tapering recesses defined by the axially opposed surfaces of the collars.

    摘要： A device for building up directional force comprises an even number of tubular vessels (1) made of elastic material and adapted for communicating with a pressure fluid medium source, and a rigid rectilinear pivot (8) with flat bevels (19) which is positioned between the tubular vessels (1) so that the tubular vessels (1) are located symmetrically with respect to the geometrical axis (9) of said pivot (8). Provision is made for puncheons (10) adjoining the outside surface of the tubular vessel (1) and positioned diametrically opposite relative to the axis (9) of the pivot (8), with their inside surfaces (12) facing the surfaces (20) of the pivot (8), which adjoin the outside surfaces of the tubular vessels (1). Wedge-shaped inserts (14) are located diametrically opposite with respect to the axes (15) of the tubular vessels (1) and have surfaces (16) adjoining the outside surfaces of the tubular vessels (1) which are out of contact with the puncheon (10 ) and the pivot (8) and lateral surfaces (17, 18) adjoining the flat bevels (13) of the puncheons (10) and the flat bevels (19) of the pivot (8).

    摘要： In a powered member, a device for attaching each end of a flexible tubular chamber to a head of a nipple is formed by a pair of cylindrical bushings interconnected by means of a tenon and mortise joint which are located in the casing and define a central passage having its axis aligned with the axis of the casing. Walls of the passage in a plane drawn in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the casing are in the form of a pair of truncated cones having their larger bases facing towards each other. One generatrix of the conical surface of the passage extends substantially in parallel with generatrix of one conical passage of the head of the nipple and the other generatrix of the passage extends substantially in parallel with the generatrix of the other conical passage of the head of the nipple.

    摘要： Disclosure is made of a power unit wherein a housing is made split along its longitudinal axis. A tubular elastic vessel is internally coaxially accommodated in the housing. Disposed between the expandable portions of the housing are expanding inserts trapezoidal in section, bearing by their larger bases against the tubular elastic vessel and by the sides, against the inner walls of the housing portions. For delivery of a working medium into the space of the elastic vessel provision is made for two pipe unions, each of which is installed for longitudinal movement in a holder having a flange disposed in a circular recess made on the inner surface of the housing. An electric element surrounding the elastic vessel is installed in the same circular recess. Each of the elastic vessel ends is disposed between the pipe union and the holder.

    摘要： A hydraulic rock breaking tool of modular construction comprises an assembly of shaft sections having a longitudinally extending bore therethrough and lateral passages communicating with the bore. The shaft assembly provides a number of radial abutment flanges between which a number of self-supporting, radially expansible, elastomeric membranes are confined in the longitudinal direction, each membrane having a cylindrical portion surrounding the shaft and defining with it an annular space communicating with the bore via the lateral passages. Each membrane has a pair of annular end flanges, each terminating in an axially extending retrorse flange which is seated against the shaft section for sealing engagement with it, the retrorse flanges being urged against the shaft by fluid pressure in the annular space.
