摘要: A flower lamp includes first, second and third diffuser sections each being configured in the shape of a flower petal. Each diffuser section includes a wire frame, a section of translucent material and means for securing the material to the frame. The first, second and third diffuser sections are coupled to a shaft and extend in a generally vertical direction from the shaft. A base is coupled to the lower end of the shaft and supports the shaft in a vertical direction. In one embodiment of the invention, the translucent diffuser material is formed from pieces of chemically treated animal bladder. The method of chemically treating animal bladders to convert them into a translucent diffuser material suitable for use in a high temperature environment is also disclosed.

摘要: A lamp shade or cover that can be readily switched from a translucent-opaque mode to a transparent mode if the shade or cover from a material with transparency properties that can be modulated. A layer of liquid crystals encapsulated between transparent electrodes is included in the shade. Normally, the liquid crystals are randomly oriented and diffuse light so as to create a translucent state. When a direct current voltage is applied across the transparent electrodes, the liquid crystals become oriented and essentially transparent. Application of a pulsed or alternating current voltage can be used to modulate the degree of transparency.

摘要: The present utility model discloses a lampshade with a reinforcing strip extending in the length direction along a side wall designed respectively at the bottom and/or top of the side wall and with a plurality of projecting fasteners integrated with the reinforcing strip; such design not only increases the stability of the fasteners after being decorated with the body of shade but also ensures that the reinforcing strips and the fasteners integrated with the reinforcing strips can be installed onto the bottoms and/or tops of the side walls during the lampshade production, thus avoiding the need to spend a lot of time and manpower to paste or clip the fasteners one by one onto the lampshade during the production, and further effectively improving the production efficiency and saves the production cost.

摘要: The present invention relates to improved light bar cover for LED light bars. The presently disclosed light bar covers may cover the full circumference and length of a light bar and may include a multi-functional tool for easing the installation or removal. While installed, the light bar cover protects the light bar from various damages such as debris or the elements. The multi-function tool may be used to assist in the removal and installation of the cover when mounted in hard to access location. In various embodiments the multi-function tool may be used to deploy the cover, provide rigidity to the cover, and/or actuate a fastener for the cover.

摘要: A luminaire is provided for illuminating a task surface and a volume of space above and about the task surface, including a limited human occupiable space proximate the task surface. The luminaire includes a generally vertical riser portion and a generally horizontal extension arm portion. A task lighting element on the extension arm portion directs light in a directional light distribution pattern toward a task surface. A source of light associated with the riser portion of the luminaire produces light in a generally diffuse light distribution pattern which, when the luminaire is supported in its operative position relative to the task surface, illuminates the volume over and about the task surface.

摘要: A removable cover for a lampshade having a support frame of a ferromagnetic material. The cover includes a rectangular-shaped sheet of material having top, bottom, first side, and second side edges cooperating to form an inner surface and an outer surface configured to cover the lampshade, and first, second, third, and fourth pluralities of magnets. The first plurality of magnets is at the inner surface and is spaced-apart along the top edge. The second plurality of magnets is at the inner surface and is spaced-apart along the bottom edge. The third plurality of magnets is at the inner surface and is spaced-apart along the first side edge. The fourth plurality of magnets is at the inner surface and is spaced-apart along the second side edge. The pluralities of magnets are configured to be removably secured to the support frame to removably secure the cover to the lampshade.
