    摘要: A heater is provided for a vehicle illumination assembly. The heater includes a heat transfer body, a heat source, and a mounting base. The heat transfer body has a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface has a higher emissivity than the bottom surface. The heat source is affixed in heat transfer relation with the heat transfer body. The mounting base is configured to affix the heat transfer body within a housing of a vehicle illumination assembly to provide the top surface of the heat transfer body in radiant heat transfer relation with a light transmissible portion of the vehicle illumination assembly. A method is also provided.

    摘要: A composite array has two two-dimensional arrays on a substrate each having two rows of LEDs. The LEDs in each array have the same orientation as all other LEDs in that array. First electrical traces sequentially couple LEDs in the first string and the second string by beginning at opposite corners of the composite array and alternating between rows of each of the first and second arrays. A second electrical trace couples ends of the first and second strings across rows of the composite array. Third electrical traces route outside the composite array and are coupled, respectively, to a beginning of the first string for the row of the composite array containing the beginning of the first string, a beginning of the second string for the other row, the end of the first LED string for the other row, and electrodes of LEDs in the other row.

    摘要: A lighting and/or signaling device, comprising a light guide, at least one LED light source, wherein an inlet and diffusion wall and the light outlet wall are opposite to each other along a main optical axis (X). The lighting portion comprises a middle lighting portion aligned with the LED light source and the light emission portion, and a peripheral lighting portion. The device comprises at least one reflector element associated with the light inlet and diffusion wall of the light guide and directly facing the respective extraction elements so as to reflect light towards the light outlet wall. A diffusion layer is arranged to cover the lighting portion on the side of the light outlet wall. Cylindrical optics are provided on the light outlet wall, at the middle lighting portion, which extract the incident light beams thereon, towards the diffusion layer.
