    摘要: An apparatus and methods of securing a C-Frame to a cable run during the installation process of a cable tap are disclosed. A holding device is removably coupled to an interface positioned adjacent to a C-Frame loosely coupled to a cable run. The holding device which is coupled to the interface is slid over and onto the C-Frame, thereby securing the C-Frame to the cable run. Thereafter, a cable tap is coupled to the C-Frame.

    摘要: A captive shear bolt assembly includes a bolt and a shear coupling. The bolt may have a head, an extension, and a shank. The shear coupling may be configured to be received by the extension. The shear coupling may be configured to receive the extension via an orifice in the shear coupling. The shear coupling may be configured to shear when an upper head of the shear coupling is driven at a threshold torque. When the shear coupling has sheared, the extension may be configured to captively secure the upper head to the bolt. The captive shear bolt assembly may be used in a tap connector for electrically connecting a main conductor to a tap conductor.

    摘要: Embodiments provide for a method for pluggable Land Grid Array (LGA) socket for high density interconnects. A method includes inserting an electrical-to-optical transceiver into an opening of a channel housing that is positioned above a land grid array connector located on an electrical package. After the electrical-to-optical transceiver is inserted into the channel housing, a tapered opening remains between an upper portion of the channel housing above the electrical-to-optical transceiver, wherein a gap of the tapered opening decreases progressively starting from the opening. The method includes inserting a conductive wedge into the gap of the tapered opening prior to communications through the electrical-to-optical transceiver between a component on the electrical package and a component external to the electrical package.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides cam activated wire termination assemblies for electrical wiring devices. The electrical wiring devices include a cover and a base. The base has a wire chamber supporting a wire termination assembly. The wire termination assembly includes a wire fastening member and a conductive member. The wire fastening member has a cam surface and is rotatable between an open position and a securing position. The conductive member is positioned in close proximity to the wire fastening member such that a gap is provided between the wire fastening member and the conductive member when the wire fastening member is in the open position. When the wire fastening member is rotated from the open position to the securing position, the cam surface rotates to reduce the size of the gap between the wire fastening member and the conductive member.

    摘要: An electrical connector has a first connector housing with a first engagement head that includes a flange and an outside surface with an annular groove thereon. A first gasket is sized to fit around the outside surface of the first engagement head and abut with the flange. A second gasket is sized to fit within the annular groove of the first engagement head. A second connector housing with a second engagement head that includes a front face and an interior surface sized to fit around the outside surface of the first engagement head. The first connector housing and the second connector housing connect together such that the front face of the second engagement head compresses the first gasket against the flange of the first engagement head and forms a first seal. The second gasket forms a second seal between the outside surface of the first engagement head and the interior surface of the second engagement head.
