摘要: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), wherein the MAC CE maps transmission configuration indication (TCI) states to codepoints of a TCI field in downlink control information (DCI), receiving the DCI including the TCI field, and identifying, based on the MAC CE, whether at least one of a first TCI state of the UE and a second TCI state of the UE is updated by a codepoint of the TCI field in the received DCI, and in case that one of the first TCI state and the second TCI state is identified as updated by the codepoint, updating the one of the first TCI state and the second TCI state that is identified as updated by the codepoint, and keeping other of the first TCI state and the second TCI state that is identified as not updated by the codepoint.

The wireless device may receive a downlink control information (DCI) comprising a TCI selection field. The DCI may schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception via the cell. The wireless may receive, via the cell, the PDSCH reception based on a TCI state among the at least two TCI states. The receiving PDSCH reception based on the TCI state may be in response to a number of repetitions of the PDSCH reception being equal to one and the TCI selection field being set to a value.

A user equipment (UE) determines whether a resource for use to perform a Layer 1 (L1) measurement for a serving cell of a wireless communication network is within a corresponding active bandwidth part (BWP) of the resource. In response to determining that the resource is outside the corresponding active BWP of the resource, the UE reports to the wireless communication network that the UE needs an interruption to the corresponding active BWP of the resource.

摘要: A UE and a method for handling multiplexing UCI are provided. The method receives an RRC configuration including a first PUCCH resource configuration and a second PUCCH resource configuration. The method obtains a first set of PUCCH resources in a first sub-slot and a second set of PUCCH resources in a second sub-slot, where the first sub-slot overlaps the second sub-slot. The method performs a first UCI multiplexing procedure after determining that a first PUCCH resource of the first set of PUCCH resources overlaps a second PUCCH resource of the second set of PUCCH resources and a timing constraint for multiplexing is satisfied. The first PUCCH resource is associated with transmission of first UCI. The first UCI multiplexing procedure includes selecting a third PUCCH resource from the second set of PUCCH resources and multiplexing the first UCI in the third PUCCH resource.

The communications device receives a plurality of downlink data units according to the one or more HARQ processes transmitted via the group of downlink resource instances, divides the group of the plurality of downlink resource instances into a plurality of subsets of downlink resource instances from the group, generates for the group of downlink resource instances a plurality of indications of an acknowledgement, ACK, or negative acknowledgement, NACK, indicating whether each of the plurality of received downlink data units was correctly received or not according to the one or more HARQ processes, and combines the plurality of the ACK or NACK indications for at least one of the subsets to form a bundled indication for the group.

The coverage enhancement representations may comprise repetitions of a TB, or segments of a TB. Alternatively, the coverage enhancement representations may comprise TBs commonly share a scheduling downlink control information (DCI) message or an uplink grant that schedules the TBs.
