In some embodiments, the fixing base comprises a cylindrical first body portion (21) having a pair of notches (21H), a cylindrical second body portion being larger than the diameter of the first body portion and having a joint (23H), and a groove portion (25) formed in between the first and second body portion and having an equal or less diameter of a space of the pair of notches. A first body portion and a stepped surface (21B) of the groove portion is contacted to a base surface of a lamp holder (50) when the fixing base is inserted to the lamp holder.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes a liquid crystal display panel, and a backlight arranged on a back surface of the liquid crystal display panel. The backlight includes a plurality of rod-shaped light sources, electrode fittings for holding the rod-shaped light sources, and side wall plates covering the electrode fittings. The electrode fittings are connected to a connection portion extending in the parallel-arrangement direction of the rod-shaped light sources. The side wall plate includes a plurality of projecting members arranged in parallel to each other in the extending direction of the connection portion. The connection portion includes positions which are brought into contact with the projecting members and portions which are not brought into contact with the projecting members. By adopting the above-mentioned constitution, the liquid crystal display device can reduce squeals and the like.

    摘要: A structure for attaching a fluorescent tube includes a base, a holder supported by the base, and a pair of contacts. The holder holds an intermediate portion of the fluorescent tube while restraining the fluorescent tube from moving in a radial direction. To the pair of contacts, terminals of a pair of end portions of the fluorescent tube are respectively attachable in an attaching direction corresponding to the radial direction of the fluorescent tube. Each contact includes a pair of elastic pieces facing each other. The pair of elastic pieces have a pair of straight portions extending substantially straight along the attaching direction and facing each other. On the pair of straight portions, a pair of contact portions for clamping the corresponding terminal of the fluorescent tube therebetween are formed.

At least one cold cathode fluorescent lamp socket communicable with the wire inlet is formed at the cold cathode fluorescent lamp insertion end to extend into the cold cathode fluorescent lamp connecting unit in a extending predetermined direction for a cold cathode fluorescent lamp to insert into the cold cathode fluorescent lamp socket. The cold cathode fluorescent lamp connecting unit is characterized in that at least one slit is formed on the cold cathode fluorescent lamp connecting unit to extend in the same extending direction as the cold cathode fluorescent lamp insertion socket by a predetermined length and communicate with the cold cathode fluorescent lamp socket. A wire can be extended into the cold cathode fluorescent lamp connection unit via the wire inlet and pulled out of the cold cathode fluorescent lamp connecting unit via the slit to enable convenient connection and maintenance of the cold cathode fluorescent lamp.

    摘要: A subject of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device in which the reliability of electrical connection between electrodes and electrode fittings can be improved even if there are variations in diameter of the bar light sources arranged in the back light. There is provided a liquid crystal display device comprising: a liquid crystal display panel; and a back light arranged on the back surface of the present liquid crystal display panel; wherein the back light is composed of a plurality of bar light sources arranged in parallel in a plane opposing the liquid crystal display panel and a base that supports each of the bar light sources through electrode fittings at electrode sections; wherein the electrode fittings are each provided with a pair of pressing portions which press the circumferential surface of the electrode of the bar light source from opposing sides of the circumferential surface; and wherein each of the pressing portions is arc-shaped such that the pressing portion surface facing the circumferential surface of the electrode of the bar light source has a concave; and is formed such that the pressing portion presses the electrode of the bar light source through projections formed on the concave.
