    Abstract: A valve comprises a body having a gas inlet and outlet, a flap in the body,—a drive shaft which is rigidly connected to the flap, an actuator having a motor shaft, and a coupling of the motor shaft and the drive shaft. A mounting for the actuator on the body comprises a side wall defining a cavity and closed in part at angular sectors facing towards the inlet and towards the outlet. The wall has openings for circulating air between the inside and the outside of the cavity. A thermally insulating partition is between the body and the actuator and has a surface area which is greater than 50% of a cross section of the wall taken in a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, and has an opening for receiving the shaft with a gap. A plate is connected to the shaft, which is axially interposed between the partition and the actuator, and covers the gap.

    Abstract: A heat recovery device extends between an inlet and an outlet for exhaust gas, and includes a valve delimiting a direct passage for gas between the inlet and the outlet. The valve comprises a valve body housing a gate movable between a closing off position and a released position. A heat exchanger has an exchanger inlet upstream of the gate and an exchanger outlet downstream of the gate. The valve comprises a tube partially extending inside the valve body up to a mouth edge at a distal end, with the mouth edge extending in a plane. The gate has a plane contact surface configured to come in a direct contact with the mouth edge when the gate is in the closing off position.

    Abstract: A vehicle exhaust system includes an upstream exhaust component, an intermediate exhaust component, and a downstream exhaust component. The upstream exhaust component is defined by a first outermost diameter and the downstream exhaust component is defined by a second outermost diameter. The intermediate exhaust component is positioned between the upstream and downstream exhaust components and is defined by a third outermost diameter that is greater than the first and second outermost diameters. At least one mixer is located in at least one of the upstream exhaust component, downstream exhaust component, or intermediate exhaust component. An injector is configured to inject fluid into the intermediate exhaust component.

    Abstract: A valve includes a valve body having an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet, the valve body defining an exhaust gas circulation passage between the exhaust gas inlet and the exhaust gas outlet. A flap is arranged in the valve body and a shaft drives the flap in rotation with respect to the valve body. At least one guide bearing guides the drive shaft of the flap for rotation relative to the valve body. The guide bearing is engaged through an orifice of the valve body, with an inner end of the guide bearing being located inside the valve body. A first tube is engaged in one of the exhaust gas inlet and exhaust gas outlet and abuts against the inner end of the guide bearing.

    Abstract: A valve comprises a valve body delimiting a passage for exhaust gases, a flap arranged in the valve body, and a drive shaft configured to drive the flap, and which is integrally secured to the flap. At least one guide bearing is configured to guide the drive shaft of the flap in rotation in relation to the valve body, and is connected to the valve body. The valve also includes an actuator and a transmission comprising an adapter rigidly attached directly to the drive shaft of the flap. The transmission is arranged in order to transmit a motor torque between the actuator and the adapter. The adapter has a contact surface that is in sealed contact with a complementary surface provided on the guide bearing.

    Abstract: An exhaust gas purification device for a vehicle includes a tubular enclosure having a central axis, a purification member for exhaust gases housed in the tubular enclosure, an electric heating member housed in the tubular enclosure, and a power source electrically powering the electric heating member. The electric heating member comprises a heating plate made from an electrically conductive material extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the central axis. The heating plate has a solid center and at least two branches, each branch extending in a spiral from the solid center to a free end located near the tubular enclosure. The heating plate is permeable to the exhaust gases and comprises a network of passages for the exhaust gas generating a turbulent flow of the exhaust gases through the heating plate.

    Abstract: A heater is suitable to be arranged opposite and away from an upstream or downstream face of an exhaust gas purification member of a vehicle. The heater comprises a fastening ring with an electrically conductive frame having a geometric center, a central support arranged substantially at the geometric center of the frame, and a plurality of elongate heating elements each having first and second ends opposite one another. The first end is connected to the frame and the second end is connected to the central support. The fastening ring further comprises a plurality of electrically conductive radial protrusions distributed around the frame and protruding toward the outside of the frame.
