摘要: A two-stroke engine includes a cylinder having a combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is delimited by a piston guided in a reciprocating manner in the cylinder and drives a crankshaft. A first intake channel opens into the crankcase interior. A transfer channel opens into the crankcase interior via a transfer window on a cylinder bore of the cylinder and via a passage opening. A second intake channel is provided for supplying scavenging air to the transfer channel. The first intake channel and the second intake channel are configured for supplying air. An injection valve configured for injecting the entire quantity of fuel to be supplied to the engine directly into the crankcase interior is disposed on the crankcase. A method for operating a two-stroke engine provides that the entire quantity of fuel to be supplied to the engine via a metering installation is supplied directly to the crankcase interior.

摘要: An automatic aircraft powerplant control system includes a throttle servo for adjusting a throttle valve via a throttle control linkage. A throttle control lever provides a user input to the throttle servo, and a throttle controller controls the throttle servo for controlling a throttle valve. A dual-redundant propellor servo drive provides propellor control, and a dual-redundant mixture servo drive controls an air-fuel mixture. A first processor and a second processor are communicatively coupled with the dual-redundant propellor servo drive and the dual-redundant mixture servo drive and with each other to provide dual-redundant propellor and mixture control. The throttle control lever provides a single lever for pilot control of aircraft power, and the throttle control configuration is compatible with an auto-land capability.

摘要: In the present invention, a clogging rate is calculated using a first flow rate function when the degree of clogging of the throttle valve is in the reference state and a second flow rate function estimated based on the intake air volume. For each predetermined period, sample points, which are combinations of the second flow rate function and throttle valve position, are obtained, and the learning points are calculated by averaging a plurality of sample points for each predetermined position range. Based on the plurality of learning points, coefficients a to c of the approximate function of the second flow rate function characteristic are calculated by the least-squares method, and the clogging rate is calculated based on the second flow rate function characteristic and the first flow rate function approximated by the approximate function using the coefficients a to c.

摘要: An assembly for an engine includes a control module including a controller operable to control at least certain aspects of the operation of the engine, a display including an input connected to the controller, and a wireless receiver connected to the controller. The wireless receiver is arranged to receive a signal from a wireless device to cause the controller to send an engine start signal to cause starting of the engine and wherein the input when actuated causes the controller to send an engine start signal to cause starting of the engine. In at least some implementations, no keyed ignition switch is provided to start the engine and the engine is started only via the wireless device or the input.
