Abstract: A technique for wireless communications in a wireless system including: receiving, from a first user device, cancellation capability information, receiving, from a second user device, unlicensed frequency transmission capability information, receiving, from the first user device, an uplink transmission over an unlicensed frequency band, determining, a need for a higher priority uplink transmission by the second user device, scheduling an uplink cancellation time for the first user device based on the cancellation capability information and unlicensed frequency transmission capability information, scheduling an uplink transmission time for the second user device based on the cancellation capability information and unlicensed frequency transmission capability information, transmitting an uplink cancellation request to the first user device based on the scheduled uplink cancellation time, and transmitting an uplink transmission time for the higher priority uplink transmission to the second user device based on the scheduled uplink transmission time.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space monitoring configuration for a wireless device that specifies PDCCH monitoring for one subcarrier spacing (SCS) selected from a group of subcarrier spacings (SCSs) that are related to a spectrum in 5G new radio (NR) above 52.6 GHz are described. In one embodiment, the monitoring limits associated with each of the SCSs are applied per slot per CC and the user equipment (UE) decode complexity associated with performing the monitoring limits for the different SCSs in the group is equal. In one embodiment, the monitoring limits associated with each of the SCSs are for a slot group of a plurality of slots and are for application over a duration of the slot group.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for determining a quasi-co-located assumption for aperiodic channel state information reference signals for multi-transmission-reception-point operation in a wireless communication system. A wireless device may establish wireless links with multiple transmission-reception-points of a cellular network. The wireless device may receive downlink control information. The wireless device may determine a quasi-co-located assumption for aperiodic channel state information reference signals for the downlink control information. Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for user equipment device (UE) uplink antenna panel selection. The UE may determine, based on at least one condition, to perform a beam switch from a current beam being used for communications with a base station. Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform URLLC scheme selection. The UE may connect to at least one base station. The UE may determine scheduling of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) are within a threshold duration. Based on the PDCCH and the PDSCH being scheduled within the threshold duration, select one or more transmission control indicator (TCI) states for receiving the PDSCH irrespective of TCI state(s) indicated in the PDCCH. The UE may receive the PDSCH using the selected one or more TCI states.

Abstract: Methods to enhance the coverage of NR systems for coverage-limited wireless devices are disclosed. A serving base station may configure a coverage-limited UE with parameters for the UE to operate in a coverage enhancement mode through RRC signaling, DCI, or RAR grant. The UE may use the configuration parameters to determine whether to enter into the coverage enhancement mode when connecting and communicating with the serving base station. The configuration parameters may configure the UE to exploit both time diversity and frequency diversity to extend and enhance coverage when receiving the PDSCH and PDCCH channels, when transmitting the PUSCH and PUCCH channel, and when transmitting PUSCH Msg3 during random access. Advantageously, the base station may flexibly and dynamically configure the UE with coverage enhancement parameters to extend the coverage of the UE using time diversity and frequency diversity gains as the UE moves around.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE), or other network component can operate to configure different sets of resources including different sequence lengths for an uplink (UL) transmission via a UL channel. A first length or at least one of different second lengths can be selected to configure the UL transmission based on one or more conditions, which can include a coexisting radio access technology (RAT), a UE capability, an occupied channel bandwidth (OCB), the type of UL transmission or the like. The UL transmission can be based on at least one of: the first or the second sequence length such as for an initial access procedure based on the coexisting RAT and the OCB, for example.
