    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may broadcast a first set of network coding encoded packets for reception by a plurality of receivers, and receive feedback information associated with the first set of network coding encoded packets, the feedback information indicating that one or more receivers of the plurality of receivers did not successfully receive a quantity of network coding encoded packets that satisfies a decoding threshold associated with recovering the plurality of source packets, and a first subset of network coding encoded packets of the first set of network coding encoded packets that were not successfully received by at least one receiver. The transmitter may broadcast a second set of network coding encoded packets. The second set of network coding encoded packets may include at least the first subset of network coding encoded packets.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to mobility techniques that allow for dynamically updating a set of cells activated to serve a user equipment (UE) and synchronizing with the cells activated to serve the UE. An example method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, signaling indicating a set of cells supported by one or more distributed units (DUs) under a common central unit (CU) and one or more timing advance groups (TAGs) for the set of cells; identifying a subset of the set of cells activated to serve the UE; receiving physical (PHY) layer or medium access control (MAC) layer mobility signaling; updating the subset of activated cells based on the mobility signaling; and communicating with the subset of activated cells based on a timing advance associated with the one or more TAGs in which the updated subset of activated cells belong.

In some aspects, a transmitter may perform a first encoding operation on source packets that generates a first set of network coding encoded packets and may broadcast the first set of network coding encoded packets for reception by a plurality of receivers. The transmitter may receive feedback information associated with the first set of network coding encoded packets, the feedback information indicating that a first subset of network coding encoded packets were received by at least one of the plurality of receivers, the feedback information further indicating that one or more receivers of the plurality of receivers did not successfully recover all of the plurality of source packets. The transmitter may broadcast a second set of network coding encoded packets that does not include any of the first subset of network coding encoded packets. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for supporting network transmissions using unicast sidelink communications. A base station (BS) may transmit a set of encoded packets to a number of user equipment (UEs) and receive feedback messages from the UEs that indicate sets of decoded packets. Based on the feedback messages, the BS may transmit an updated set of encoded packets based on a difference between the set of encoded packets and the union of decoded packets. The BS may transmit an instruction to a first UE to transmit a unicast sidelink communication to a second UE that includes a set of missed packets that includes one or more decoded packets that were decoded by the first UE but were not decoded by the second UE. The first UE may transmit the unicast sidelink communication to the second UE.
