    Abstract: A system and method for improving mobility performance. The system and method include receiving, by a target master wireless communication node (MN) from a source master wireless communication node (MN), a handover request to begin a handover procedure; and transmitting, by the target MN to a target secondary wireless communication node (SN), a first message to inform the target SN about a type of SN addition or change procedure to perform the handover request, wherein the first message causes the target SN to send a second message to the target MN to inform the target MN of one or more configured primary secondary (PSCells).

    Abstract: A method includes receiving a first radio resource control (RRC) message including at least one of a conditional handover (CHO) configuration and a conditional primary secondary cell addition or change (CPAC) configuration. The CHO configuration includes a CHO configuration index, a CHO candidate cell configuration, and a CHO execution condition. The CPAC configuration includes a CPAC configuration index, a CPAC candidate cell configuration, and a CPAC execution condition. The method includes selecting, responsive to receiving the first RRC message and based on at least one of the CHO execution condition and the CPAC execution condition, a special cell (SpCell) of a wireless communication node to perform a random access procedure (RAP); and transmitting, to the wireless communication node, a second RRC message to inform the wireless communication node that the wireless communication device selected the SpCell to perform the RAP.

In one example aspect, a method includes performing, by a communication node, a handover procedure from a source base station to a target base station based on information associated with a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session. The information indicates that at least one tunnel in a list of tunnels that carry user data has a one-to-one correspondence with a Quality of Service (QoS) flow.
