Abstract: A cover strip for at least the upper corner and front surface member of a display shelf is an integrally formed sheet of plastic having pre-formed fold lines extending widthwise. When deployed, the fold lines overlie respective right-angle corners formed by the forward facing edge of the shelf. In one embodiment the lower edge of the cover strip is folded to extend forwardly and upwardly about a flange member on the shelf to resiliently contact the underside of the shelf. The opposite end of the cover strip may include projections which extend through holes defined in the shelf to secure the cover strip in those holes. In an alternative embodiment, projections extend from opposite edges of the cover strip to engage respective holes in the support member and/or in a flange member disposed beneath the support member of the shelf, with yet another embodiment having locking tabs to overlie the rearmost edge of the flange member. Adhesive means may be substituted for the tabs and one embodiment is designed for use with a shelf having a price channel as its front surface member. The cover strip serves to protect against injury to persons rubbing against the shelf edge while providing a more decorative appearance and permitting display of merchandise-related indicia.

Abstract: An integral unit for suspending one or more apertured items for display forwardly of a display shelf is arranged to be secured to the forward edge of the shelf or, alternatively, to a hook which is secured to the shelf. The unit is made of flexible plastic and includes a tag-like mounting portion which has two spaced and aligned bottom support edges adapted to be supported on a support ledge at the shelf forward edge. If that forward edge is a standard price molding, the mounting portion can be resiliently engaged therein. An item-supporting portion extends from between the support edges and is flexible to be suspended forwardly thereof. The item-supporting portion has one or more finger-like hook members adapted to support the apertured items for display. In one embodiment, the hook members are reinforced by an arcuate cross-section which is more pronounced near the hook tip. An inverted U-shaped punch-out portion surrounds the hook and, once removed, permits the hook to be bent out of plane to support an apertured item. Alternatively, the hook may have a winged tip which is flexibly foldable to be inserted through the aperture in the displayed item.

Abstract: A merchandise pricing ticket assembly has a rigid highly polished plastic material forming a support panel which is printed with display matter and has areas left clear to form windows. Components of a soft flexible material, also highly polished, are provided which adhere to the rear of the windows whereby information on the components may be viewed therethrough. Abstract: A shelf display device comprising a folded element having a horizontal leaf, and a depending vertical leaf, the horizontal leaf being adapted for placement on a shelf with the vertical leaf in front of the front edge of the shelf.
