Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for avoiding hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID) conflicts in scenarios where multiple semi persistently scheduled (SPS) configurations share the same pool of HARQ process IDs are provided. One technique involves receiving an indication of SPS configurations, where each SPS configuration allocates a set of SPS occasions for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. A conflict is detected between a first HARQ process ID associated with a first SPS occasion of a first SPS configuration and a second HARQ process ID associated with a second SPS occasion of a second SPS configuration, where the first SPS occasion occurs prior to the second SPS occasion. At least one action to resolve the conflict is taken based on predetermined rule(s), in response to detecting the conflict.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in a method for wireless communication by base station. The method generally includes transmitting, to a user-equipment (UE), a packet indicating a beam switch associated with communication with the UE, receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) message, detecting that the ACK message is configured to indicate whether parsing of contents of the packet was successful, determining a timing of the beam switch based on the detection, and performing the beam switch in accordance with the determination of the timing.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for facilitating wireless communication at a UE. An example apparatus receives information scheduling communication with a base station on a first set of resources in a first frequency range and on a second set of resources in a second frequency range. The example apparatus communicates with the base station on the first set of resources in the first frequency range using a first set of parameters applicable to the first frequency range. Further, the example apparatus communicates with the base station on the second set of resources in the second frequency range using a second set of parameters applicable to the second frequency range.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating semi-static TCI configurations are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after receiving the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes receiving, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages using the indicated TCI state until a second downlink message including a TCI state change indication is received. An example method for wireless communication at a base station includes transmitting, to a UE, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after transmitting the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes transmitting, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages based on the indicated TCI state.

Abstract: Extension of power efficient paging in a wireless network. In some examples, information is buffered for a time period corresponding to a paging slot, or both the paging slot and at least one adjacent slot. The buffered control information is processed to detect paging downlink control information (DCI) and a tracking reference signal (TRS). Based on the processing, the paging message is scheduled in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in the paging slot. In some examples, quasi-co-located (QCL) processing may be performed on the TRS and the paging DCI paging message, and a paging message is scheduled, based on the QCL processing, in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a same or offset paging slot.

The CORESET may be a dynamic CORESET with a predefined number of search space occasions or a semi-static CORESET. The method also includes communicating in accordance with the request. The request is transmitted using at least one of an uplink radio resource control (RRC) message, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a sounding reference signal (SRS), a random access channel (RACH), or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE may switch, in connection with the request, to a bandwidth part (BWP) configured for the UE.
