    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference control for uplink transmission, for example, using multiple transmission configurations (e.g., antennas, beams, and/or antenna panels). A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a transmit power for one or more uplink transmissions to a base station (BS) using one or more transmit power parameters. The one or more transmit power parameters are based, at least in part, on a transmission configuration of the one or more uplink transmissions. The method generally includes transmitting the one or more uplink transmissions to the BS using the determined transmit power.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for precoding for multi-panel uplink transmission. For codebook-based uplink transmission, a user equipment (UE) can determine one or more preferred or selected precoders for uplink transmission. The precoders can be from an expanded UE codebook that maps a first number of transmit layers at the UE to a second number of antenna ports at the UE, the layers and/or antenna ports associated with multiple uplink transmit panels at the UE. The UE sends an indication to a base station (BS) of the determined precoders and/or sends an uplink transmission using the determined precoders. For non-codebook based uplink transmission the UE receives first and second reference signals (RSs), from first and second ports of a BS, with first and second UE antenna panels. The UE computes precoders to use for uplink transmission based on the RSs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling that configures a channel measurement resource and an interference measurement resource within a same time interval. The UE may transmit a measurement report that indicates a signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) measurement that is generated based on measuring the channel measurement resource and the interference measurement resource. In some cases, the UE may receive a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship indicator that indicates a QCL relationship for the interference measurement resource or the channel measurement resource. The UE may measure the channel measurement resource and the interference measurement resource in accordance with the QCL relationship.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a configuration signal indicating that the UE supports using a spatial reference signal for a channel performance measurement procedure. The UE may receive an activation signal from the base station activating the spatial reference signal for the channel performance measurement procedure. The UE may perform, based at least in part on the activation signal, the channel performance measurement procedure using the spatial reference signal transmitted by the base station, wherein the channel performance measurement procedure comprises pathloss estimation of a channel. The UE may select, based at least in part on a result of the channel performance measurement procedure, a transmission power for an uplink transmission to the base station. The UE may perform the uplink transmission to the base station based at least in part on the transmission power.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling including scheduling information. The scheduling information may include an indication of a joint downlink and uplink transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for a common beam. The UE may apply the joint downlink and uplink TCI state at the component carriers to activate the common beam to transmit one or more uplink transmissions or to receive one or more downlink transmissions at the UE. The UE may schedule communications with a base station, one or more transmission reception points (TRPs), or both across the component carriers and using the common beam. The communications may include transmitting at least one uplink transmission during one or more uplink resources indicated in the scheduling information and receiving at least one downlink transmission during one or more downlink resources indicated in the scheduling information.

In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an indication to a base station to configure a control channel of a downlink beam in accordance with a full duplex failure detection control resource set (CORESET), wherein the full duplex failure detection CORESET is used based at least in part on the UE being associated with a full duplex communication link that includes the downlink beam and an uplink beam; and monitor a reference signal on the control channel of the downlink beam based at least in part on the full duplex failure detection CORESET in order to detect a beam failure on the downlink beam while transmitting the uplink beam, wherein monitoring the reference signal is based at least in part on a threshold that is based on one or more uplink transmission parameters.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a reporting configuration that may include a number of channel measurement or interference measurement resource sets that the UE may measure in accordance with one or more reporting quantities. Based on receiving multiple resource sets in a reporting configuration from the base station, the UE may generate and transmit a measurement report including resource sets contained in the reporting configuration. This may allow the UE to report different report quantities between different resource sets indicated by a base station. In addition, the UE may be configured to rank measurements using different reporting quantities. The report configuration may configure the UE to perform measurements of different resources in accordance with one or more reporting quantities, and the UE may apply a rule to rank different measurements based on the indicated reporting quantities.
