Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication technique for combining an IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than that of a beyond-4G system, and a system therefor. The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (for example, smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, security and safety related services, and the like) based on 5G communication technologies and IoT-related technologies. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided, the method includes receiving configured grant (CG)-physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) configuration information, identifying a plurality of actual repetition PUSCHs based on a PUSCH repetition transmission type B and the CG-PUSCH configuration information, identifying whether 1 symbol actual repetition PUSCH is included in the plurality of actual repetition PUSCHs, and in case that the 1 symbol actual repetition PUSCH is included in the plurality of actual repetition PUSCHs and is related to uplink transmission in an unlicensed band, transmitting the 1 symbol actual repetition PUSCH.

Abstract: A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a base station via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling, information indicating a number N of code block groups per transport block (TB), wherein a code block group comprises at least one code block, receiving, from the base station, control information scheduling data, receiving, from the base station, the data on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) based on the control information, the data including code block groups of a TB, generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information for the code block groups of the TB, the code block groups of the TB being identified based on a number of code blocks (CBs) for the TB and the number N of code block groups per TB, and transmitting the HARQ feedback information to the base station, wherein a bit size of the transmitted HARQ feedback information is identical to the number N of the code block group per TB.

HARQ-ACK information associated with all of the N HARQ processes is identified, based on the received DCI. A number of bits for the HARQ-ACK information is defined based on xN by the configuration, and the x is a natural number. The HARQ-ACK information is transmitted to the BS.
