Abstract: A user equipment including a transceiver and a processor is disclosed. The processor is configured to receive from another UE a first sidelink control information (SCI) format payload identifying a number of resources reserved for transmission by the other UE. The processor is configured to detect, based on the received first SCI format and one or more resources selected by the UE for transmission, resource collision corresponding to one or more resources of the number of resources reserved for transmission by the other UE. The processor is configured to send, in response to the detected resource collision, a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) to the other UE for inter-UE coordination (IUC) of the number of resources reserved for transmission by the other UE.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to communicate with a base station using a set of component carriers (CCs) configured for a carrier aggregation (CA) mode, in accord with a first common transmission configuration indication (TCI) identifier (ID) applied to the set of CCs. The UE is also configured to receive, from the base station, a command to switch from applying a first common TCI ID to the set of CCs to applying a second common TCI ID to the set of CCs; transmit, to the base station, an acknowledgement of the command to apply the second common TCI ID to the set of CCs; and transmit data to or receive data from the base station, using the set of CCs and in accord with the second common TCI ID, after an action delay including a first time period in which the acknowledgement is transmitted. The first time period is based on a smallest subcarrier spacing of the set of CCs.

Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for implementing Channel State information (CSI) feedback for multi-Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) transmissions in a wireless communication system. Some embodiments enable a user equipment (UE) to determine Channel Quality Indicators (CQI) and/or Precoding Matrix Indicators (PMI) for multi-PDSCH transmissions that account for effects of a duration of the multi-PDSCH transmission including the maximum interval between the first and last PDSCH transmissions on the CQI and PMI determinations. Some embodiments include a base station that detects a need for a change in a beam direction and adjusts the beam direction accordingly based on the PMI determinations. Some embodiments enable a desired hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-ACK feedback transmission from a single multi-PDSCH transmission. Some embodiments include performing HARQ bundling with an update to the Type 1 HARQ-ACK codebook based on the multi-PDSCH transmission.

Abstract: User equipment devices (UEs) may receive multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) transmissions over a bandwidth part (BWP) specifically allocated for MBMS point-to-multipoint (PTM) transmissions, or over MBMS-specific resources configured for PTM transmissions within a UE-dedicated BWP. The network (e.g. base station) may configure the MBMS-specific BWP for the UE for the PTM transmissions per serving cell. The MBMS-specific BWP may be used for downlink transmissions, and may be cell specific or UE specific per serving cell. The base station may provide MBMS PTM scheduling information per BWP to the UE, may indicate whether a UE-dedicated BWP may be used for PTM scheduling and transmission, and may provide the corresponding scheduling configuration when applicable. The UE may communicate its various capabilities related to MBMS reception and simultaneous reception of PTM and point-to-point (PTP) transmissions to the base station to aid the base station in scheduling communications of the UE.

Abstract: Uplink transmissions of a mobile device (UE) may be improved in a number of ways. Uplink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling, including both Type-A and Type B PUSCH repetitions, may be implemented with variable TTI bundle sizing. The TTI bundle size may be determined by a base station and communicated to the UE explicitly, or may be determined by the UE implicitly, based on an indicated repetition number and frequency hopping number. The UE may also report frequency hopping (FH) assist information to the base station for use by the base station to more efficiently configure FH for the uplink transmissions. Finally, the UE may use (or maintain) the same transmission power, for each TTI transmit occasion of the same TTI bundle in order to improve (cross-slot) channel estimation accuracy. Power allocation may be prioritized to ensure that at the same time a total power for the uplink transmissions of the UE does not exceed a specified threshold.
