    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method includes: determining, for a conversion between a video unit of a video and a bitstream of the video, that the video unit is coded by a motion pair from a same direction relative to a current picture, wherein the video unit is applied with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) merge mode and the video unit belongs to a low-delay picture; and performing the conversion based on the motion pair.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method of processing video data is proposed. The method comprises: during a conversion between a current video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, obtaining a geometric partitioning mode (GPM) block associated with the current video block; and performing the conversion based on a motion-compensated prediction sample refinement process applied to the GPM block. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed solution advantageously improves coding efficiency and compression ratios.

The method in accordance with the first aspect of the present disclosure improves the coding process of the current video block. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed method can advantageously improve the coding efficiency and avoid the undesirable latency.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a solution for video processing. A method for video processing comprises: selecting, for a conversion between a current video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a target scheme from a plurality of candidate schemes for adjusting a merge candidate for the current video block; and performing the conversion based on the target scheme, wherein the plurality of candidate schemes comprise at least one of a first set of candidate schemes and a second set of candidate schemes, in each of the first set of candidate schemes, a first motion vector (MV) of the merge candidate is adjusted with a first motion vector difference (MVD), and a second MV of the merge candidate is kept unadjusted, in each of the second set of candidate schemes, the second MV is adjusted with a second MVD, and the first MV is kept unadjusted.
