    Abstract: A 360-degree image encoding method that is performed by an encoding apparatus according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: obtaining a two-dimensional (2D) space picture with respect to 360-degree video data; deriving motion constrained tile sets (MCTSs) for configuring a sub-picture from the 2D picture; configuring the sub-picture including the MCTSs based on the MCTSs; and encoding the sub-picture so as to output encoded image information, wherein the MCTSs are arranged in the raster scan order on the sub-picture.

    Abstract: A digital broadcast receiver for processing a broadcast signal, includes a tuner configured to receive the broadcast signal including Physical Layer Pipes (PLPs), wherein the PLPs carry link layer packets; and a controller coupled to the tuner, wherein the controller is configured to select and decode a specific PLP, detect and acquire first signaling information for supporting a channel scan and second signaling information for a robust header compression, wherein the second signaling information for the robust header compression includes a PLP identifier, profile information for representing a range of multiple protocols used to compress at least one stream, and a maximum value of a context identifier, select and decode another PLP to receive the at least one stream based on the second signaling information for the robust header compression, and decompress the at least one stream.

    Abstract: A method of transmitting a broadcast signal, includes processing one or more input packets to generate link layer packet(s), each link layer packet including a header and a payload, the header including packet type information representing a type of an input packet in the payload and payload configuration information representing a configuration of the payload, wherein the type of the input packet is an Internet Protocol (IP) packet or a Movie Picture Exports Group (MPEG) Transport Stream (TS) packet, the payload configuration information is set to a first value for a link layer packet including a single input packet and no additional header or the single input packet with an additional header, or the payload configuration information is set to a second value for a link layer packet including more than one input packet or a part of one input packet, and processing the link layer packet(s) to generate the broadcast signal.
