    Abstract: A vehicle intelligent anti-theft key system and a method operating the same are operated via a two-stage authentication. The first stage authentication is the conventional car key section certification, and the second stage authentication is a newly added preset condition certification. The preset condition can be regarding the time and/or the place, e.g., parking in a parking lot coordinated by the GPS (Global Positioning System) from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., which is set according to the car owner's live schedule. Even if the thief may use the high-tech replication method to pass the first stage car key section certification, the thief may not be able to pass the second stage preset condition certification due to objective inconsistency.

    Abstract: A securing mechanism for retaining a CPU to an electrical connector mounted upon a top surface of the PCB, includes a fastening device mounted upon the top surface of the PCB beside the electrical connector, and a back plate mounted upon the undersurface of the PCB and located between the PCB and a metallic case. The fastening device cooperates with the back plate to be secured to the PCB via a first set of fixing units. The case forms an opening/recessed region to receive a thickened central region of the back plate and is secured to the back plate via a second set of fixing units surrounding said opening. The thickened central region is fully received within the opening in the vertical direction. The first set of fixing units are located in the central region of the back plate.

    Abstract: An electrical contact includes a planar main body, a supporting arm extending upwardly from an upper edge thereof, and a spring arm extending curvedly and upwardly from a lower edge thereof with a contacting region at a free end region. The spring arm will contact the supporting arm when the spring arm is downwardly pressed by the CPU. A connecting part extends from an upper portion of the main body for connecting to a carrier strip, and includes a first connecting section coplanar with the main body, and a second connecting section perpendicular to the first connecting section wherein the carrier strip is connected to an upper edge of the second connecting section so as to be spaced from the corresponding spring arm and supporting arm, thus avoiding improper coating thereupon when the gold coating is applied to the self-contacting regions of the spring arm and supporting arm.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a plurality of passageways arranged in matrix, and a plurality of contacts assembled and retained in the corresponding passageways, respectively. Each contact has a main body, a secondary body sidewardly connected to and angled with the main body. A resilient contacting section upwardly extends from an upper portion of the main body and above the top surface of the housing for contacting an electronic package, and a soldering section extends from a lower portion of the secondary body around the bottom surface of the housing for mounting to a printed circuit board. The main body includes an upper linking part originally linked to an upper carrier, and the secondary body includes a lower linking part which is originally linked to a lower carrier. The main body includes retaining structures for retaining the contact within the passageways without moving.

    Abstract: A plurality of contact are received within the corresponding passageways of the insulative housing of an electrical connector, respectively. Each contact has juxtaposed first body and second body angled with each other via a connecting section linked therebetween. A resilient contacting section extends upwardly from the first body. The bottom portion of the second body forms sideward spaced first blade and second blade with a slit therebetween, wherein a soldering tail further extends from the first blade, and the second blade is sideward farther from the first body than the first blade is. The bottom edge of the first body is lower than the bottom edge of the connecting sections o as to form another slit between the first body and the second body under the connection section.

    Abstract: An electrical contact forms opposite top surface and bottom surface. A guiding groove is formed in the top surface. A mounting section is formed at an end of the contact. In the mounting section, a securing hole extends downwardly from the guiding groove and through the bottom surface. A solder unit is received within the securing hole and reaches a conductive pad, under the contact, to which the contact is soldered by reflowing the solder unit. The guiding groove extends from an oblique section of the contact so as to assure the socket unit can be smoothly dropped into the securing hole. The solder unit can be temporarily retained within the securing hole before reflowing.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for connecting the CPU and the printed circuit board, includes an electrical connector and a back plate respectively mounted upon two opposite surfaces of the printed circuit board. A fastening seat partially surrounds the connector for securing a heat sink which is downwardly seated upon the CPU for heat dissipation. The back plate forms a plurality of securing studs extending through the fastening seat. The heat sink further includes a plurality of tubular securing nuts respectively surrounded by the corresponding coil springs and secured to the corresponding securing studs in an adjustable manner so as to impose the downward force upon the heat sink to urge the heat sink to abut downwardly against the CPU for heat dissipation of the CPU.
