Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for precoding with a time division multiplexed resource selection codebook. A method that may be performed by a user equipment includes receiving a channel state information (CSI) report setting that indicates to the UE to report precoding matrix indicator (PMI) feedback determined based on a codebook corresponding to a combination of time-division multiplexed CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) or synchronization signal block (SSB) resources. The method may also include reporting CSI with the PMI feedback associated with one or more resources in the time-division multiplexed CSI-RS or SSB resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring and reporting channel state information for resources with different periodicities. A method that may be performed by a user equipment includes receiving a channel state information (CSI) report setting associated with at least one resource setting that indicates a first group of one or more CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) or synchronization signal block (SSB) resources and a second group of one or more CSI-RS or SSB resources, the first group of one or more CSI-RS or SSB resources having a different periodicity than the second group of one or more CSI-RS or SSB resources; and reporting CSI associated with the first group, the second group, or the first group and the second group of one or more monitored CSI-RS or SSB resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, one or more synchronization signals of a synchronization signal block (SSB). The UE may receive, from the network entity, a system information message indicating a received power threshold associated with a two-step random access procedure. The UE may transmit, to the network entity in accordance with the two-step random access procedure, a first message (e.g., msgA) of the two-step random access procedure. The first message may include a first number of repetitions of a random access preamble, a second number of repetitions of a random access payload, or both. The UE may determine the first number of repetitions and the second number of repetitions based on measurements of the one or more synchronization signals and the received power threshold indicated by the system information message.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a message type-A (msgA), of a two-step random access channel (RACH) procedure, identifying information associated with a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), wherein the information includes at least one of a plurality of SSB indices associated with the plurality of SSBs or a plurality of reference signal received powers (RSRPs) associated with the plurality of SSBs. The UE may receive a message type-B (msgB) in the two-step RACH procedure, identifying a downlink beam associated with an SSB based at least in part on transmitting the msgA. The UE may transmit a response message, based at least in part on receiving the msgB, indicating a confirmation of an SSB index identified in the msgB or indicating a reversion to a different SSB index. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communication device may transmit an indication of a probabilistically-shaped (PS) constellation being enabled for transmission of one or more messages. The wireless communication device may communicate a grant with a second wireless communication device, the grant indicating a set of resources including one or more resource blocks for transmission of a message of the one or more messages. The wireless communication device may transmit the message over the set of resources in accordance with the PS constellation based on a quantity of the one or more resource blocks of the set of resources failing to satisfy a threshold quantity of resource blocks. In some examples, the wireless communication device may transmit a second indication of the PS constellation, where transmitting the message in accordance with the PS constellation may be based on transmitting the second indication.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a set of repetitions of a preamble message, wherein the preamble message is a portion of a first random access channel (RACH) message of a RACH procedure. The UE may receive a random access channel response (RAR) message in an RAR window of the RACH procedure, wherein the RAR window is included in a set of RAR windows for monitoring for the RAR message, and wherein at least one RAR window, of the set of RAR windows, starts after transmission of a first repetition, of the set of repetitions, and before transmission of a last repetition of the set of repetitions. Numerous other aspects are described.
