Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining a timing advance (TA) for a handover in a network, such as a non-terrestrial network, A method that may be performed the UE includes receiving, from a source base station (BS), a handover command instructing the UE to hand over to a target BS, obtaining an indication of a timing advance (TA) for communicating with the target BS, wherein the indication of the TA for communicating with the target BS is based, at least in part, on a TA used for communicating with the source BS and a first time difference between a first reference signal associated with the source BS and a second reference signal associated with the target BS, and transmitting, based on the handover command, one or more signals to the target BS using the TA for communicating with the target BS.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine that a distance between an end of a first downlink control information (DCI) and a corresponding first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a distance between an end of a second DCI and a corresponding second PDSCH satisfy a minimum distance threshold for a user equipment (UE). The ends of the DCIs are to be received at the same symbol. The base station may transmit the first DCI, the first PDSCH, the second DCI, and the second PDSCH based at least in part on determining that the distances satisfy the minimum distance threshold. In some aspects, the UE may decode the first and second DCIs in an order that depends on DCI properties. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network entity, a request capabilities message for a positioning session between the UE and the network entity, transmits, to the network entity, in response to reception of the request capabilities message, a provide capabilities message during the positioning session, and transmits, to the network entity, a request assistance data message during the positioning session, the request assistance data message, the provide capabilities message, or both including sensor measurement information, sensor motion information, or both.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may adjust resources (e.g., time resources, frequency resources) used to transmit repetitions of uplink control information (UCI) over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The UE may adjust two parameters corresponding to different scales (e.g., levels) of adjustment, where a first parameter corresponds to a number of repetitions of a PUCCH resource and a second parameter corresponds to a number of slots within each PUCCH repetition. The UE may adjust the resources based on the first parameter, the second parameter, a size of UCI, a maximum coding rate, or some combination thereof, such that the PUCCH resources carrying UCI satisfy the maximum code rate and UCI size.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may transmit a downlink pre-emption indication (DLPI) or an uplink cancellation indication (ULCI) to a user equipment (UE) to indicate that a subset of resources of a scheduled downlink or uplink data transmission have been pre-empted or canceled. As such, the UE may either empty a buffer at the UE associated with the subset of resources or refrain from transmitting over the subset of resources based on receiving the DLPI or the ULCI, respectively. In some aspects of the present disclosure, the UE and the base station may support one or more inter-UE multiplexing schemes to increase a likelihood for the UE to receive the DLPI or the ULCI or to otherwise avoid collisions with communications between the base station and one or more other UEs.
