Abstract: A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a base station, information on a rate matching configuration and an aggregation factor associated with a number of a plurality of slots; receiving, from the base station, downlink control information including scheduling information for data and a rate matching indicator; identifying resources based on the scheduling information, except for at least one rate matching resource associated with the rate matching indicator; and receiving, from the base station, the data on the identified resource, wherein the data is repeated in the plurality of slots associated with the aggregation factor, and wherein the rate matching indicator is applied to a slot where the rate matching configuration is present among the plurality of slots.

A method by a terminal includes receiving information on a number of CBGs of a TB via higher layer signaling; identifying the number of the CBGs of the TB based on the information; receiving DCI scheduling downlink data transmission, wherein the DCI includes an NDI and a CBG indicator; receiving downlink data corresponding to the TB; in case of identifying that the DCI is associated with an initial transmission of the TB based on the NDI, identifying the CBGs of the TB; in case of identifying that the DCI is associated with a retransmission of the TB based on the NDI, identifying one or more CBGs corresponding to a bit value of 1 included in the CBG indicator, the bit value 1 indicating corresponding CBG of the TB is present in the downlink data transmission; and decoding the identified CBGs.

First DCI scheduling a first PUSCH is transmitted to the terminal. A number of bits associated with one value in the set of values is included in the first DCI. Uplink data on the PUSCH is received from the terminal, in a TTI determined by using the RRC message and the number of bits in the DCI.

The method performed by a terminal includes receiving, from a base station, configuration information including channel state information (CSI) resource configuration information; receiving, from the base station, DCI including CSI request information; performing a measurement based on CSI resource configuration information corresponding to an activated BWP, in case that the CSI request information is associated with a plurality of CSI resource configuration information; and reporting a result of the measurement.
