    Abstract: Disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal in a wireless communication system supporting NarrowBand-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, the method for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal may include: receiving, from a base station, a narrowband synchronization signal; and performing a cell search procedure for the base station based on the narrowband synchronization signal, in which the narrowband synchronization signal may include a narrowband primary synchronization signal and a narrowband secondary synchronization signal, the narrowband primary synchronization signal and the narrowband secondary synchronization signal may be transmitted in different subframe, and the subframe in which the narrowband secondary synchronization signal is transmitted may be configured differently according to a type of a radio frame structure.

    Abstract: A method of transmitting, by a transmitting device, an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal in a wireless communication system, the method including: generating, by a digital module of the transmitting device, a frequency-shifted OFDM baseband signal by performing frequency up-shift of a first signal by a difference between a carrier frequency f0 and a first frequency fbase, wherein the first frequency fbase is, among frequencies corresponding to integer multiples of 128Δf, closest to the carrier frequency f0, and wherein Δf is an OFDM subcarrier spacing; up-converting, by an analog oscillator of the transmitting device, the frequency-shifted OFDM baseband signal by the first frequency fbase to generate an OFDM symbol signal at the carrier frequency f0; and transmitting the OFDM symbol signal at the carrier frequency f0.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method for improving measurement performance of a terminal in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, in a method wherein a terminal performs measurement in a wireless communication system, a method performed by the terminal comprises the steps of: receiving, from a serving base station, configuration information for measurement of a reference signal receive power (RSRP) and/or a reference signal received quality (RSRQ), wherein the configuration information includes port configuration information related to an antenna port to which a reference signal is transmitted and measurement configuration information related to a correlation between a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) and a re-synchronization signal (RSS) for the measurement; receiving the CRS and/or the RSS from a neighbor base station; calculating the RSRP and/or the RSRQ according to the configuration information by using the CRS and the RSS; and reporting the RSRP and/or the RSRQ to the serving base station.
