Abstract: Improved methods, systems, devices, or apparatus that support prioritization for potential shared data transmissions are described. In some cases, a receiving device may identify transmission parameters for shared transmissions including a scheduled shared transmission and determine resources for a potential shared transmission. The receiving device may monitor for the shared transmission(s) based on priority rules for a shared transmission and the potential shared transmission. For instance, the receiving device may be configured to receive only one of the scheduled or potential shared transmission. In some cases, the transmitting device may consider the priority rules and determine whether to transmit or drop one or more shared transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide for transmission of a beam switch command to a user equipment (UE) via control channel signaling. The UE may establish a connection with a base station using a first transmission beam, receive configuration information configuring the UE to select between a first decoding hypothesis corresponding to downlink control information (DCI) including a bit field including a beam switch command and a second decoding hypothesis corresponding to the DCI not including the bit field, receive a downlink control channel transmission via the first transmission beam, decode the downlink control channel transmission in accordance with the configuration information to obtain decoded DCI, and communicate with the base station based at least in part on the decoded DCI.

Abstract: A wireless communications system may support beamforming to transmit and receive signals. A device operating within the wireless communications system may transmit a request to measure a beamformed reference signal. The device may also transmit a beamforming configuration indicating one or more beamforming options for measuring the beamformed reference signal. The beamforming options may include measuring the beamformed reference signal using a directional configuration and an omni-directional configuration. The device receiving the beamforming configuration may form a receive beam in accordance with the beamforming configuration to measure the beamformed reference signal. A device operating within the wireless communications system may determine to use a particular beamforming option for measuring a beamformed reference signal without first receiving a beamforming configuration, and may make the determination based on signal quality at the device or capabilities of the device.

The UE may receive an indication of a precoder, of a plurality of precoders, to be used to precode an uplink communication, wherein the precoder is identified based at least in part on the plurality of uplink reference signals or the one or more measurement reports. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be provisioned with multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. The UE may determine a differentiation characteristic for determining which SPS configuration is indicated by a downlink control information or associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). For example, the UE may receive a first activation of a first SPS configuration and a second activation of a second SPS configuration. The UE may determine the differentiation characteristic between the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The UE may determine that one of the first SPS configuration or the second SPS configuration is the SPS configuration for a received PDSCH based on the differentiation characteristic. The UE may transmit an acknowledgment of the PDSCH based on the determined SPS configuration.

Abstract: User equipment (UE)-specific information may be transmitted within a control resource set configured to carry resources common to UEs within a system. The UE-specific information may be associated with a search space having an aggregation level different from aggregation levels used with the common control resources and may occupy different modulation symbols within the common control resource set (e.g., to support flexible scheduling for multiple UEs). A base station and UE may operate in a system using one or more control resource sets within a system bandwidth. The UE may detect common control resources by monitoring decoding candidates in the control resource set according to a first set of aggregation levels. The UE may detect UE-specific control resources by monitoring decoding candidates in the control resource set according to other aggregation levels. The UE and base station may communicate based on control information obtained from the monitoring.
