    Abstract: A method for calibrating an electronic temperature sensor connected to a mobile device. The device includes a microprocessor and memory linked to the microprocessor, to store an application coupled to a data entry interface. The temperature sensor is initially placed in a plurality of predetermined environments, where it provides an initial raw temperature value measured in each environment, and, for each of these environments, a predetermined initial temperature value corresponding to the actual temperature of this environment is entered beforehand directly into the application via the interface. The method includes in computing a calibration curve according to each predetermined initial temperature value entered from the application and according to each corresponding initial raw temperature value provided by the temperature sensor, storing in the device or in the sensor, calibration parameters determined from the calibration curve, and correcting by the calibration parameters each raw temperature value measured by the sensor.

    Abstract: A watch includes a striking mechanism, including an attached gong (4) and a hammer (15), as well as a battery (6) and an integrated circuit (7) powered by the battery and configured to produce current pulses, and an electrodynamic actuator (17) which is connected to the integrated circuit and configured to receive said pulses, the actuator being integral with the hammer or connected to the hammer to generate in response to the pulses a movement of the hammer from a rest position thereof, the movement being able to actuate an impact of the hammer on the gong. The mechanism also includes a spring (27) connected to the hammer so as to return the hammer to its rest position after the impact. Depending on particular embodiments, the hammer undergoes one or more pre-oscillations before reaching the impact. The hammer and the gong may be provided with attracting magnets.

When the force torque is equal to a nominal force torque or has a value within at least an upper part of a given range of values, one of the protruding parts of the escapement wheel is subjected to at least one shock on the mechanical banking of the pallet assembly after the magnetic pallet-stone has climbed any one of the increasing gradients of magnetic potential energy, thus dissipating at least partially a kinetic energy of the escapement wheel.

    Abstract: A moiré-effect winding assembly for an automatic timepiece movement includes an oscillating winding mass which is movable relative to the movement. The winding mass is to be mounted to rotate on an axis of the movement. Part of the winding mass forms a heavy part allowing the mass to oscillate in response to the movement of the timepiece and to the force of gravity. The assembly also includes an element that is stationary relative to the movement. The stationary element is arranged under the winding mass. The winding mass at least partly displaces above the stationary element. The stationary element includes a first relief pattern and the winding mass includes a plurality of through openings defining a second pattern, so as to create a dynamic moiré effect when the winding mass displaces above the stationary element.
