    摘要: A LCD and LED hybrid display screen has a LCD display screen, a LED display screen overlapping with the LCD display screen, and a drive device for driving the LCD display screen and the LED display screen. The LED display screen has at least one LED pattern and each LED pattern comprises a plurality of strokes is corresponding to at least one LED lamp. The drive device drives the LCD display screen to display at least one LCD display pattern and driving the LED lamp to emit light. A LED display pattern formed by a light emitted by the LED lamp and the LCD display pattern are in one-to-one correspondence. A LCD and LED clock with a LCD and LED hybrid display screen is further provided. Different ambient brightness can be adapted while the power consumption can be reduced through overlapping the LCD display screen with the LED display screen.

    摘要: The disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for dimming an alarm clock with three displays. An alarm clock can include three displays each positioned on a different side of the alarm clock to allow the alarm clock to be read from different vantage points. In some implementations, the alarm clock can include a front display, a right side display, and a left side display. Each display can have multiple brightness settings. Each display also can have a respective dimming button to allow a user to select a desired brightness level. In some implementations, the dimming button for the front display can serve as a master dimming button by controlling the brightness of all three of the displays, while the right side dimming button and the left side dimming button control only the brightness setting for the right side display and the left side display, respectively.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a controlled reflection readout for light emitting information displays for such apparatus as computers, compasses, watches, clocks and consoles wherein the light emitting display is not placed normal to the viewing plane and cannot be read at 90.degree. to the display. The light emitting display is inclined to the line of sight and glare shielding means extends forwardly from the top of the display to prohibit reading the display at a right angle thereto whereby reflections from the sun or lights in a room will interfere with reading through the optically transparent window in front of the light emitting display.
