    Abstract: Aspects relate to mechanisms for a wireless communication device to generate a superposition transmission of a sidelink signal to be transmitted to at least one receiving wireless communication device and an uplink signal to be transmitted to a base station. The wireless communication device may transmit the superposition transmission on resources allocated by the base station on a common carrier utilized for both sidelink and uplink transmissions. The superposition transmission includes a base layer corresponding to the uplink signal and an enhanced layer corresponding to the sidelink signal. The wireless communication device may further generate and transmit interference assistance information to the receiving wireless communication device for use by the receiving wireless communication device in canceling the base layer from the superposition transmission.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein leverage existing localization sensors or V2X devices to detect one or more other vehicles that include wireless systems that can interfere with in-vehicle wireless networks. The localization sensors or V2X devices can provide information to determine a location, a heading, a speed, a size, and a type of other vehicles. This information can be used to determine a probability of network interference and allow the in-vehicle wireless networks to employ one or more techniques to mitigate the effects of the interference. The interference mitigation techniques can include increasing or decreasing transmitter power, changing a frequency or a channel of a wireless transmitter, or activating one or more additional transmitters as relays to improve reliability.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to wireless communication devices configured to facilitate power conservation and sidelink communications. According to one example, a wireless communication device can transmit a first sidelink transmission, determine one or more sidelink resources for receiving a second sidelink transmission based at least in part on the resources used to transmit the first sidelink transmission, monitor the determined one or more sidelink resources, and receive via the transceiver the second sidelink transmission on the monitored one or more sidelink resources. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a first quantity of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions to be transmitted in a slot fails to satisfy a condition that is based at least in part on a maximum quantity of PSFCH transmissions the UE can concurrently detect. The UE may identify, among the PSFCH transmissions to be transmitted in the slot, a subset of the PSFCH transmissions to be detected. For example, the subset of the PSFCH transmissions to be detected may include a second quantity of the PSFCH transmissions that satisfies the condition. Accordingly, the UE may monitor, during the slot, a PSFCH for the subset of the PSFCH transmissions. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for managing resource reservations in sidelink communications. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes determining a plurality of resource reservations allocated for sidelink communications with at least one second UE and transmitting, to the at least one second UE, control information having an indication of the resource reservations. The method also includes communicating with the at least one second UE during at least one of the resource reservations and determining that a remaining set of the resource reservations is enabled to be reclaimed by one or more UEs. The method further includes taking one or more actions based on the determination that the remaining set of the resource reservations is enabled to be reclaimed by the one or more UEs.
